Been a Netgear customer for years... thought I would give this a try due to replacing from DOC 3.0 to 3.1. Range wasn't good at all and worst of all, for the price no WiFi 6.... ended up purchasing an ARRIS modem without the router and also purchased an ASUS router. Much, much better. Great range, speed. Ended up spending more but WiFi 6 is so much faster and got the range I needed.

Set up was easy, although being Xfinity to register this device to some time. Once up and running, it was blazing fast. Unfortunately the connection would drop and reset hourly. This was unacceptable and despite hours with both the manufacturer's tech support and Xfinity's, there was no resolution. I found many mentions online of similar experiences, so eventually gave up and returned it for a different device (which solved the problem instantly).

Very good product with excellent customer support.

Works great with my Cox Internet and other components.

WPS is not a option on here, but other than that it is performing ok. Passwords are overboard that come with it, so change those when possible.

I returned this all-in-one modem/router because it did not provide appropriate WIFI speed between our main floor and basement area.

Had nothing but problems with this. I kept contacting my service provider and kept chewing them up about their service not working. So problem after problem with it, I called Arris and they tried to say it was my service provider. But you could unplug the router and plug it back in and it would start working(don’t rely on the app to do anything I can tell you that. It’s horrible too. So needless to say I’ve finally had it im gonna count my $200 loss and just rent a modem from my provider.

This thing has captcha built in to the interface. I would stop working every week, now that I have it for maybe year it stops working daily, Even a factory reset does not work. I added a fan to it and it doesn't help due to not having any space to move air.

It's okay I'm not blown away by it but I guess it does the job without any bells and whistles

It worked well for a few weeks,and after that constantly same issue,dropping out on a daily basis. After contacting tech support,I was told that it’s my provider issue,strange with my provider modem/router combo everything worked great. Never mind,I called them,technician came out and did measurements of their signal strength and loss,and on their side everything was ok,but this combo still had an issue losing connection and dropping out daily. So pretty much it needs reboot every day,and even with reboot sometime will not connect properly or even get a signal. If you want stabile connection,definitely try something else,because this device will not provide you anything else than daily headaches. Overall very price piece of electronic,that’s good only for decoration and nothing else.

Unable to review it at this tie as it is a gift and will not be installed until after Christmas. I Will update (if possible) afterward.

Although Arris is a very good brand, the combination of modem and router didn't work well for me and had to return.

Bought this as a replacement for an older Arris, but couldn't get it to work, but turns out it was probably Xfinity that wasn't working properly.

The range on this device will not cover my 850 square foot house. I'm not impressed with the speeds either. Setting up the router required downloading an app. Not impressed.

i purchased it for xfinity services but found out it will not support there telephone services so i had to return it.

I bought this Arris Surfboard. It’s ok for work but if you’re doing a lot of streaming, I’d recommend other brands with 6.0 WiFi’s
