This Arris T25 modem works perfectly for our Xfinity with Voice service. You will also need a separate router to have WiFi throughout your home. It still beats out renting a gateway from your provider in the long run! This was set up and activated by the Xfinity technician with our new service, so I cannot attest to the ease or difficulty of installation. However, I watched him and it seemed pretty straightforward.

Works perfectly with Comcast. Easy to setup and gets the advertised download speeds. Would be nice to have the option to keep it horizontal or vertical, this one is a little awkward on its side with a built-in stand.

Ended up having to return this because we could never get it to work with Comcast. Our old modem (which had been replaced within the last year because of a lightning strike) mysteriously stopped working, and the only way we could get internet was via an xfinity modem. We bought this modem thinking it would work, but once we installed it, we had the same problems we had with our other modem. After a week of fighting with Comcast and the manufacturer of the modem, we gave up and returned it since it didn't work for us. I don't believe it was a problem with the modem AT ALL, I totally feel that it was comcast keeping the modem from functioning properly so that we would have to pay the monthly rental fee for tech that worked.

I had a different Arris SURFboard 32 x 8 DOCSIS 3.1 modem that didn't have telephone capability. I was so impressed with its performance that I only considered replacing it with this Arris T25 model that allows me to have home phone service. The 32 x 8 transmission speed is currently the fastest on the market for Xfinity and the DOCSIS 3.1 is the most current software to date. Arris prices are more than competitive as they offer the latest for comparable prices to the competition who offer less speed & older software like DOCSIS 3.0 sometimes for a higher price.

I bought this to save money on my Comcast Xfinity bill every month. I was almost too cheap to put out the cash outlay in July 2020. But since then I've saved at least $250 since then, and keep saving every month. It's just a modem, no a router, but that's fine as I have a dedicated Netgear Orbi router and satellite plus a third old router that's serving as an Access Point for the farthest area of the house, and I haven't had to think about them hardly at all since setting them all up two years ago. I like technology I don't have to think about any more. It just works. Speedtest just now: 894.44 Mbps (10:00 pm on a weekday)

I replaced my Comcast Router/modem with the Arris modem. East setup ( a few minutes) and performance has been outstanding

Excellent speed and ease of use with this cable modem. I just wish Xfinity had better customer service as they took weeks to get this thing connected, once it was it is seamless to use. Really great speeds.

Easy install. Performs as stated. No issue setting up with Xfinity. Easy Peasy. I am completely happy with how it works. I am writing 50 characters for 25 points hence the run on, long review.

Easy set up and it works perfect. No longer need to pay monthly fee to the cable company for their modem. You need to have a router for home wi fi since this is only a modem.

I prefer to own my cable modem rather than rent. I had to purchase a new modem in order to add landline telephone service through Xfinity. The process with Xfinity was okay, after finding the right phone number to call (on another phone), but the performance of the modem is great for both internet and my phone line. We are saving over $80 a month compared to our previous service providers.

Works like it should. Easy to install. Xfinity was the hold up. Would buy again, or similar. It replaced an older Surfboard, for higher speed.

Trying to find a Docsis 3.1 modem with voice is a chore at best. But this one is it. Finally upgrading from my previous 3.0 modem allows me to get the speeds I’m paying for. The channel bonding is also very apparent by an increase of speed and packet transfer. I paired my modem with my Nighthawk seamlessly and I couldn’t be happier with my internet service.

Easy setup and works great for Xfinity internet services. Also works well with Eero 6 router.
