Super easy set up with my internet provider, really good signal strength across my house. Upgraded to this one when the other was obsoleted and good thing, my provider just updated my speeds and I would have needed the 3.1 version.

Works great, It was easy to set up. The only thing I did not really like was having to download an app on my phone for the set up and warranty. I do not like it when companies or manufactures think it is okay to make it easy on them, and cause me a space issue.

Works great! Fast download and upload speeds. The only drawbacks are the lack of a reset switch, and an impossible to remember network name. I know this can be changed, however most folks just want to plug and play.

Staff was helpful, and suggested this item to meet the new current & future spectrum requirements. It was easy to install, but took a while to fully connect to devices.

You can't really get a better router modem combo than this for all your needs. It has a very strong radius and extremely fast speeds, especially connected to mobile devices. It took me a minute to set up through my cable provider, but I would recommend that you just call them direct. Don't try to set it up yourself. It'll be much faster.

My old netgear cable modem was past its service life so I needed another one. For the price and speeds I get it was a great value and purchase. I used to have to reset my Netgear modem a lot on my Xfinity broadband. Now with the Arris cable modem I only have reset/restarted it once because of Xfinity issues. I am very happy with my purchase.

My review covers both the purchase of the Arris modem router as well as the experience after activation. My home router "died" and left me with no internet access near the end of the day. Ordering another router online meant a 2 day downtime which I could not accept as I use my internet for business as well as home use. I checked reviews and availability of modems at the local Best Buy, and they had one in stock that I thought would be best. Fortunately I had half an hour before the store closed and was assisted by a very knowledgeable representative who not only knew the characteristics of the unit I initially sought but who more importantly knew the drawbacks. He showed me the Arris Surfboard which was comparable in prices but with much more reliable specifications and track record. After purchasing the new unit, I had to engage my internet provider to complete the installation, but the unit has performed seamlessly since then.

The ARRIS Surfboard is an excellent modem/router. It was easy to set up and has performed flawless.

Needed to upgrade when we changed internet providers and wasnt doing to do the “its only $10 a month for as long as you have internet!” Settings are easy to change via the app or web browser. Connection is steady and speed test proves speed is at spec! I also make use of the ethernet connections on the rear for our PC’s Would recommend!

I’ve had this for several months now and am very happy with connectioning to the internet. I am a Xfinity customer and had no issues setting up. Very easy and i like the model design.

I did a lot of research to find my best option for the money I was able to spend. I am completely satisfied with choosing this router/modem combination. My internet speeds have vastly increased. I am no longer having any internet interruptions.

This product works great. I would highly recommend it. We nought it so that we don’t have to pay Verizon for renting their modem / router! This is a great item to have and avoid having to pay Verizon for modem/ router rental fees!

Easy to set up, app easy to understand. I bought it because it was supposed to be compatible eigh my xfinity 1000 mbps download and 300 mbps upload. But come to find out 2 weeks after exchange was over its not compatible with my isp the upload at its highest is about 50 mbps. Other than that, great for normal use wifi, and ethernet plug. Not recommend for xfinity. Good product thought.

I purchased Arris G34 to replace my more expensive Motorola modem (junk). It is much faster, more reliable, and it restarts itself. Easy but very limited modem setup.

This modem is great with wifi and provides closer speeds to what i pay for compared to comcast moden was rented for 8 years at 16 bucks a month so its well worth it to own ypur own. Plus with total tech protection you have no worries. If your on the fence the set up is simple only a power cord and a coaxial cable and comcast will activate with about 15 minutes of your time. Thabk me later

Very easy to setup. Interaction with tech support was excellent. Performance vs. our ISP-provided cable modem/WiFi router is like night and day. BB provided this device at a good value.

It worked with Xfinity (we returned the rental modem). As expected it took a phone call and a good amount of time on that call to get it all set up, but once we did, it worked fine. We did return it though, because while we were switching to this modem, Xfinity made an offer for an upgrade and a free modem for less than we've been paying. Go figure. I would not hesitate to buy this again.
