I upgraded my Wifi 5 to this model. The speed is amazing, but be sure to check your Ethernet cables as well so you get the beat results. Industry is up to CAT6 which should be more smoother if you stream anything or if you are into gaming. I wish cost was lower.

So far i havent had any big issues. There are a few times when one device might get disconnected but nothing that affects my overall productivity with it. Overall decent router although it is a bit expensive.

Great! Fast! And way better vs the standard modem Spectrum gives you. It’s a must need if you want reliable speeds and connections. I have yet to have any outages

I thought this is a little pricey when I bought this, I'm not a tech savvy person so I have to get assistance from Xfinity/ Comcast in the set up or installation. So far it is working very well and I never had issues with it. It can handle so much data even when I have many visitors at home. It has a great speed. I'm glad that I do not have to pay extra rental to Comcast. Great product!

After bumping my internet speed up I needed a new modem and decided to provide my own. After some due diligence I opted for the Arris G36. I couldn't be happier with the performance and ease of set up.

    Doesn’t work well with Xfinity

Modem router is good bu itself but unfortunately has connectivity issues with Xfinity (need reboot after every 2-3 days). ARIS modem expects a higher power level that Xfinity fails to provide. However, Xfinity supplied modem works well (no connection issue) with the same power level. Xfinity site has this modem listed as supported. They should remove it from their site so that people don’t spend $ on this expensive modem only to find problems after purchase (in my case, issue started happening after a year of purchase). A quick search will reveal all the issues with the modem (ARIS and Xfinity support team blames each other for the connectivity issue).

WORST Modem Router EVER. WILL NOT BUY ARRIS AGAIN.

didn't last a month. High ping rate. Multiple disconnections a day for the service provider. Internet Service provider track upwards of 2500 connection timeouts a day at its worst. If you buy it make sure you get the extra warranty to be able to return it after 15 day normal return time. Called Arris tech support no help. Spent 2 months with cable internet provider trying to get stable service. Finally tried their modem and all problems with disconnections stopped. Bought another modem from another manufacturer and will never buy Arris again. $300 down the drain.
