Keep on surfin'
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Comcast upgraded my service, requiring some kind of better/faster/newer moden-router. This one has been great! Not getting near as many disconnections from XBox multiplayer events. Biggest surprise was how easy to configure using online tools from both Arris and Comcast.

Don't buy unless you enjoy to be miserable.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If there is a 0 star for rating, I will do that. This is the worst modem + router I ever bought in my life. I bought this because of recommendation from my ISP website. At first I was thinking issue is with my ISP, after troubleshooting with them several times and even working their field technician, I finally found out the WiFi from this product is very unstable. By the time solution was found, I'm not eligible to return this 200+ dollar garbage product. Now I'm stuck with it. Solution: I ended up have to turn off the WiFi capability of this modem and combine this modem with another router to make it stable. Arris app also the worst app for any modem/router app. I used TP-Link and Asus before, and they update connected device properly while Arris app, well you need to wait for 10 minutes or more before you can see connected device is updated. When you setup this modem using Arris app, you need to be careful and not to enter wrong information. There is no back button after it complain an incorrect value in the next page. I have to uninstall app and start over just because of this. I ended up deleting Arris app and never use it and using the web UI instead. Don't buy!

Good for what it is.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the easiest way to get 2.5gb connection to your pc. Because it is a modem/router combo, the 2.5gb lan out will not bottleneck your 1gb isp connection. It has been stable. The web gui leaves a lot to be desired, and don’t even bother with the app.

Works with Comcast but can be a pain to setup with
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great modem but like I found out later setup was a pain. I had to have Comcast come get it to connect. They did find some issues at the pole but their customer support is horrible. I do have to reboot it at least once a week to keep a fast connection.

Horrible - returned!
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I switched to my own modem/router years ago. I had a great Motorola but I needed to upgrade due to increased speeds. I purchased this because most of the reviews were promising, but NOPE. This thing is horrible. It worked ok for a few days but then the service started dropping, multiple times a day. It was not on Xfinity’s end, it was definitely this modem. I had to constantly reset the modem and it was interrupting everything including my work as I work from home. I did many factory resets per troubleshooting guidelines and it just did the same thing. Luckily I had an extended return period due to the holidays. Done messing with this piece of junk and it’s going back- don’t waste your money. Came back here to read the one star reviews and it appears this is a frequent problem! For $300+ you can buy a better modem. I replaced this with an upgraded Motorola modem and it has been working flawlessly. Thankful I can get my money back for this junk.

Great deal on a wonderful product!
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Upgraded to this modem and router several months back when having issues with the speed in our home with the provider we use. Worth Every Penny
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This modem took our wifi speed from 400 mbps to over 900. Even though our other modem was equipped to handle up to 6 to 700 mbps it came nowhere near that. I am extremely happy with this modem.

Good product, average instructions.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent product. Phone app isn’t very helpful and I resorted to manual setup. Remember to change the security encryption settings on the router to match your various devices or they won’t connect. That stumped me for a bit. Again it’s the setup not the product that can be awkward.

Just ok...
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Comcast said my old one needed to be replaced. I was excited for this one. Once I installed it, it was just ok. It drops wifi more often then I expected. I wish the app had a few more features like being able to open up ports easily.

Excellent So Far
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I upgraded from an Xfinity Gateway and I am extremely pleased so far. Speeds are as they should be. I am no longer limited in my options. I was able to fix a crashing issue with multiplayer games, due to Xfinity not allowing me to change my DNS server.
