Purchased this modem/router combo in March to replace a much older model. Since day one it constantly drops connection especially at night. Almost everyday after work I have to power cycle it just to get it working. Not recommended at all.

Very easy set-up. Connected right away. Didn’t have any issues. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because it doesn’t have a manual wsp button. You have to download the app and go a few different places to seek virtual access. Kind of a pain to do. Other that it’s a really good router.

This was very easy to install and it's working very well much better than the unit from my prior cable company we always had problems with. I've read a lot of these reviews and some of the negative ones for me the unit's been fine we've been running it now for a couple months and couldn't be better

This ARRIS Surfboard was recommended by my provider, and it is working really well, my internet speed is constantly close to 400 MBPS and respond is much faster, and the bandwidth covers all of my devices with ease.

Functions perfectly with Bluestream internet service.

Do not purchase this unit. I bought one on 3/29/24 and it activated easily and worked great... for 18 days, and then it stopped working and I have not been able to get it back on line despite lengthy calls with both Arris and Xfinity. Arris blamed Xfinity and Xfinity blamed Arris. I am inclined to believe the Xfinity rep who said that they have had a number of customers with the same problem with G36 and G34 modems that just stopped working. He thought it might be due to firmware updates pushed out by Arris that are not compatible with Xfinity's system. Since I was beyond Best Buy's 15 day return window when these problems started Best Buy would not take the unit back. I am now trying to get a refund from Arris but they have not been receptive so far. Needless to say, if I have to go out and buy another modem I will definitely not buy an Arris product.

Very fast, but I have to reboot every other day or the speed start dropping and the surfboard app I could not make it work on my iPhone

Works pretty well. But took some tech support to get up and running with its counterpart mesh system. The speed has been good. I'm running 930 gb which is blazing fast!

I’ve had nothing but trouble with my internet connection since upgrading to this device. Working from home is painful and embarrassing with how often I lose service.

Out of nowhere internet was not working at home, turns out provider stopped working with old modem and router. We decided to spend the extra money and get both in one and no regrets. My speed is even better now.

Before buying this cable modem router combo, research the Puma chipset used in the G36 model. It may impact performance—decide for yourself.

Our router seemed to be dying, so we decided to get a new modem/router combo. This one seemed like a good deal. It's been working well. It doesn't have a quick-connect (WPS) button that we can find, but that's not a big deal for us.

This modem router was Easy to install and it has a sleek look. Great choice.

This modem/router does not work as advertised with COX Internet service. We had 2-months of very frequent disconnects. COX service came out to our home at least 8-times. Ultimately COX gave us one of their rental modem/routers for free and all of our technical problems immediately went away.

My wireless router Modem is great. It covers the entire house and I didn’t have to buy an extender as I did with my previous one. I like the fact that is also cover over 50 devices.

When we increased our internet speed at Xfinity, I chose to buy my own modem/wifi and this Arris G36 is working very well. Easy to install and instructions easy to follow.

Great product worked as intended, the product was better than my service providers free option by far.

Okay so I got this because I had a 7-year-old router / modem combo that needed to replace. It works fine you have to nice little app to let you see the speed but it would drop connection to your devices all at once for no reason

Great router/modem, this one replaced my older Surfboard and speed became amazing. Loading new software was much better less chance of having to retry the load.

I have been the biggest fan of Arris products (previously Motorola) if you know the history of Motorola you’d know their technology has been extremely reliable, affordable and durable for connectivity. Every arris product I’ve used just works extremely well. I got 3 ps5’s gaming all at once while other tvs & devices are streaming/social media without a hiccup. Never a trouble, if anything my internet company will fail before the hardware does. 100% worth purchasing.
