I have a SmartStream box to watch television, and I thought my box was dead, but it was just poor Internet connection with a very old Wi-Fi box. Once I upgraded to this box, the signal was much smoother. I was able to watch television without a problem my Wi-Fi is better throughout the entire house. I guess you do have to upgrade that equipment every 3 to 4 years.

Amazing! Easy to setup and it has been an awesome addition to our home.

This gateway has been nothing but a headache for me. After I installed it, i was only getting 1-2 bars in my bedroom which is 20 feet away. I was also getting connections drops at least 5 times in a span of 45 minutes. After spending time doing research, I found out that this model, as well as the G34, has a bug in the firmware in regards to the WiFi module and router. In order to update the fitmware, Xfinity has to push it to your device AFTER they test it, which can take forever. Save yourself time, and do not buy this specific model or the G34.

Does what it's supposed to do. I'm not a tech guy; I got someone who is to recommend the best router to replace an old, barely functioning one. It certainly made a huge difference in performance. Other than that, it simply sits on the shelf and works without complaining.

Works great and saves the monthly $$ Xfinity charges and really easy to instrall. I had a couple questions and the ARRIS techs helped immensely.

I bought this to replace the Motorola modem/ router I had previously. I upgraded my internet service because I do a lot of streaming and gaming online. The Arris G36 is a great buy. I'm not at all disappointed in this purchase. I noticed a better gaming experience after installing this. No more lag or buffering. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to upgrade.

Good product. Setup was challenging as very little written instructions were provided. Assistance was provided by telephone. But, it was not an easy process.

Cox cable required this modem for it's higher level of internet service. I originally purchased the standard version but had to exchange it for this model.

This is a very good product. It was simple to set up, and I have had no problem with it.

My TV's internet is disconnected often. Rarely happened with old modem. It does save me money by not having to rent one for my internet provider. The connection isn't lost for too long, but long enough and often enough to be aggravating
