Easy setup. Sleek design. Excellent performance as described.

I have owned five SURFboard cable modems in the past and have always found them very reliable. The setup continues to be simple and fast. My only reason for purchasing another SURFboard was to upgrade to my cable providers' new DOCSIS 3.1 standard and take advantage of its new features.

I upgraded to this from an ARRIS SB8200 (which ran for years without issue) to take advantage of my faster than 1Gbps Internet speeds. Setup/provisioning was easy and I did not need to call Comcast Customer Support. ARRIS devices are very reliable and this one has been no different thus far. Stop paying modem rental fees and pick up your own.

This modem works great and will be able to keep up with technology for at least the next 4-5 years. If your internet is slow dont waste money on getting the top end internet package. Upgrade your modem. You will see the difference. I had the old surfboard SB6183 on Spectrums lowest internet package. Couldnt stream anything without it buffering or being less than 420 pixel. Only thing I upgraded was this modem and now I can stream 4k on 2 tvs and being on 2 computers and have no problems while still on the lowest internet package. Great product.

I bought this to replace my previous Aris surfboard modem as I upgraded my internet speed. The installation was seamless with easy to follow directions. I haven't had any issues with it since installing it. So far I have great connection speed for download and upload

Bought this modem to replace another which had gone haywire. Easy to set up and activate with my ISP. Been using for one month only, so no problems so far. Would recommend to anyone who is looking to purchase just the standalone modem instead of renting from ISP directly.

I upgraded my old model (8200) to this one thinking I will get the speed that Xfinity say I should get with my plan but after upgrading ethernet cables, LAN card on my computer and even the router the internet speed remain the same, maybe is an issue with me not the modem at all. The modem works perfectly, haven't had a single drop in weeks

Very happy with this purchase as we dive into next gen tech and capabilities I wanted to make sure I was giving my new gear the best chance for being able to perform to its abilities. So I upgraded my Cox Panoramic Wifi Modem to this one as the Cox modem caps out at 1Gbps. Not that my area has fiber optics as of yet but at least on my end everything is ready for the highest speeds available. Plus streaming and playing on games have been great.

Bought this to replace my Cox modem and the speeds have almost doubled without upgrading my internet package, and beats having to pay the rental price from Cox each month. Really easy to set up just contact your internet provider by calling them or using the app that most providers have to activate the modem and serial number on your account and then everything else just booted up right away. Very happy with my purchase.

Initially purchased the Motorola MB8611 and had to return due to constantly losing connection. At the recommendation of the Best Buy employee purchased this Arris. Easy installation and set up and has worked perfectly since. Highly recommend.

It was simple to install and setup. Works as advertised.

Could activate the modem in just few minutes on xfinity network with their mobile app ‘Xfinity’. It needed modem max address to be passed on. There was no need to call xfinity. Modem is working solid. Currently I have only 400 mbps internet and see absolutely no issue. Will shortly upgrade to 1GHz. It’s little pricy. Paid $169 plus taxes

upgraded my internet with comcast and went with the Arris mainly because that is what was available at Bestbuy and one of the modems approved by Comcast. Seems to work fine. Speeds are exactly what I am paying for. Happy for now. Set up was simple with the Xfinity app.

Xfinity increased my speed, and recommended this modem. It installed easily, works great, and I haven’t experienced a single issue since I bought it. Took a while to get used not having numerous status indicating lights!

This modem is compact and works very well..! It helped get free from my ISP’s recurring charges. Love it!

Easy to hook up. Works better than my modem from my cable company. Fast and never cuts out.
