Very easy setup
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very easy setup. Setup with my cable company, who provides my Internet, was simple and quick. The blue light is bright, but I dimmed it a bit with not-very-sticky tape.

Great product!
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This thing helped a lot to get a better internet quality/connection, I use this one along with my TP LINK router and it works awesome!! Considering the fact that I live at a rural place, with tons of trees, getting signal is a little bit stressful sometimes, but this thing made a huge difference, please consider that there are 3 60”+ TVs in my house, 3 computers, 4 cellphones, 2 people playing video games and doing streaming on platforms sometimes, very recommended!

The best
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was having issues with WiFi around my house. This solved every single one of my problems. Lightning fast speed, no more signal drops, didn’t take up a lot of space. If you’re thinking about it, get it.

Great Modem
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great modem. Worked well and set up was easy. It is so small compared to my old modem and it has only 1 light. I would have liked it in black versus white which is a very minor complaint.

||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Xfinity upgraded my Internet speeds so I decided to upgrade my modem. Best DOCSIS 3.1 Modem Available
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this modem because I was tired of paying my ISP a modem rental fee every month. It seems like I had to reboot that modem every week. I haven’t had to reboot this one at all. It pulls my 1gig speed and it does it well. I wasn’t expecting it to be as compact as it is but it is a welcome change. I don’t regret this purchase at all.

Great modem - not fully compatible with Xfinity
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a very tiny and sleek cable modem compared to other brands and styles. I was surprised at how small it was. The performance seems to be on par for download speeds, however, even though Xfinity lists the S33 as a preferred modem, the one I got from BestBuy was a S33v2 which is not shown as recommended on Xfinity's list of modems. In addition, this modem is not on the list for Xfinity's next gen speed tier, so the uploads speeds are not anywhere near what they should be. For me, it was around 5Mbps when it should have been 300Mbps.

Easy to set up cable modem
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought the Arris S33 to replace an old Netgear cable modem. I use Xfinity and I was immediately able to obtain the close to 1gb speeds that I subscribe to. Set was very easy and I was able to activate the modem on the xfinity network on their app without having to call support.

Cut your service provider cost
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I needed a replacement for the cable modem/router combo I have been renti g from Cox for years. Just finally great tired if the lack in performance and bandwidth issues we've had at the house. This with the combined purchase of a Netgeat Orbi mesh system made the upgrade pretty easy and I no longer ned to rely on repeaters to extend the wireless at my house. This modem also future proofed me since it is a DOCCIS 3.1 modem and I have the capability for expanded bandwidth if I choose to upgrade my mesh network in future. This was the best cost effective purchase and setup was extremely easy.

Outstanding Performance Cable Modem
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Outstanding performance cable modem that handles 400mps from Internet Provider and is more than adequate for the demand of a 5000 square foot home with multiple fixed and mobile Smart Electronics. Note, I upgraded from an Arris SURFboard DOCSIS 3.0 that struggled a little. Hopefully, this modem will meet subsequent technology jumps.

Modem Performance is Outstanding
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The S33 modem has been installed about 1 month and so far performance has been outstanding. I use Comcast internet service with about 1 Gbps available. Setup took about one hour working with Comcast tech group by phone. Possibly their new Xfinity app will permit an easier method to register and activate a new modem on your account. I didn’t try it. But other than the initial setup this modem opened up internet traffic with my TP-Link router and connected devices have worked smoothly. Some reviewers complained of excessive heat from this modem but not for me. It does get warm in operation but not hot. It’s not cheap but I highly recommend.

A good modem
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far so good! This modem is capable of 2Gb/s and has been incredibly stable. I don’t like the “all in one” options being provided by ISPs and prefer to manage my own hardware. My only qualm is that it doesn’t have a power button, so power cycling is done by removing the power cable; just a small gripe so it’s not worth docking a star. The UI is fast and easily digestible. Overall I’d say it’s a good modem and would buy it again.

Good overall product
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Installation was easy. The mpdem does exactly what it is auppose to do and the 2.5Gbit port is great. Got it on sale so its way better than what Xfinity would have provided and saves me significantly more money as well.
