I was rocking a SB6190 for a few years now... I know the chip on it is problematic but I never had too much issues with it... I game a lot and latency was never a issue. But besides the point. I was informed by a friend that works for Spectrum that our little area was getting upgraded from the base speeds only to the 400 down package. So I decided to upgrade the modem too in the process. Was pleasantly surprised to see that Spectrum is utilizing DOCSIS 3.1 in our area even though we do not have the 1gigabit plan available. They have 1 - 3.1 channel and 31 - 3.0 channels available. And we do get well over the advertised speed of 400. Its been running for a month now... No restarts required, quiet, and no noticeable issues. Solid modem... Just wished they didn't make it this weird shape. More and more people are mounting their modems in network cabinets, network panels and what not... having something that is not easily mountable is a miss from ARRIS for me. I will eventually probably just open this thing up and create a casing for it that is more my thing.

I purchased this modem to handle increased internet speeds from my ISP. I'm very satisfied with the modem but I do wish that I had purchased a model that was wi-fi capable, as well. The reason being that, when I had problems with my router, I was unable to bypass it, with a separate modem wi-fi connection. That's not a criticism of ARRI S33 but a caveat, for those considering a purchase.

Nice super fast and small and compact cable modem. Works perfectly with XFINITY Gigabit + internet. And no more monthly cable modem rental fee! Highly recommend!

We have 1000 Mbps internet from Xfinity; we regularly get 800 Mbps down over our wifi (Deco mesh). We did have to call Xfinity to set up the modem, once we had it hooked up. It took a few minutes but has been working reliably for months since then. I haven't tried the Ethernet port.

Purchase the modem to accommodate my higher ISP bandwidth. Easy setup and reliable connectivity.

Highly recommend this modem, it's handling the internet in our house very well and works well with the Eero mesh system.

Our internet has been working great since upgrading our modem to this and pairing it with eeros. Stop paying rental fees from your internet provider and save yourself money for the long haul.

This modem solved all of my modem-related problems. Every other modem I've ever bought had connection issues or couldn't handle the speeds (even though they were supposed it). Have not had a problem with this one from day one, works like a charm with my mesh wifi system.

I, didn't have a lot of information about this router so I went blind with this model and to be honest arris know what they are doing they're been in the business for a long time. this little fella is awesome I had it for a few weeks and I been great not issues whatsoever easy to set up overall excellent!!

Really easy to setup. Switched modems on xfinity account using their app with no issues. Been fast and reliable so far, replacing 8 yr old SURFboard that works extremely well still. Plan got updated to speeds faster than old modem can’t handle. This should be a good investment for the next 10 years

Surprisingly 10 times better than any Netgear modem that I have owned and I was very surprised when it got here due to the size the pictures one Best Buys website tend to depict this modem to be large like the Netgear modem that I used to have but in all actual fact this modem is very compact and would fit on a small shelf and it also does give you the 2.5 Gbps if you have a lan port on you computer/laptop that is rated for that speed or a router that can handle that.... All in all I would 100% recommend this modem to anyone that is looking to bump up their internet speed somewhat this modem works best for anyone who has 1gig speed internet but will work with lower connection speed also

The router is an upgrade to the previous due pared model. My bandwidth dropped significantly and I wondered what the issue had been. After investigating I found that I needed to upgrade to this newer router. Once again I am now getting the 1g download bandwidth for which I pay. I d recommend this router. I will say that this model is meant to be placed on a surface rather than hanging in a nail to the wall. This models design is fit for placing anywhere and it is not an eye sore. Overall I am satisfied with this purchase.

Cable modems are all pretty basic. This one is a cable modem. It makes internet just fine. If you can switch to fiber internet do it. I just did today and wow. Worth it!

Rocksolid connection, easy setup, likely will never be the guilty component for a long time.

It works as it should, set up to my Xfinity was easy but it took some time, and as of right now no issues. I purchased ASUS ZEN (black towers) mesh and works like a charm.

Super easy to setup. Replaced a reliable old netgear that just didnt keep up with speeds. Dont pair with a Linksys router those things are trash
