Excellent modem and easy to setup. Would have given it full stars, however it took well over half an hour to connect and multiple attempts. Did boost my speed significantly and corrected a lot of connectivity issues from my previous ARRIS modem.

Very easy and quick to setup. I love the size of the modem compact and doesn't take up that much room. Performance it is great and have not had any issues.

The 1st ARRIS S33 unit we purchased was returned within a week because it kept rebooting. However the exchange unit we're currently using works perfectly. Thus the 4 star rating. 5 stars goes out to Best Buy for their great customer service and easy return/replacement policy. Best Buy is truly the best!

Really liking this modem. Set up was easy and performance is on point. Size is great too, much smaller than my previous modem.

Comcast stated we needed to get a new modem in order to utilize our high speed internet. We purchased this and it has been working great. It's a tiny modem so it doesn't take up much space on our entertainment system. No complaints and no more disconnects which is nice. I would recommend this.

Works great and was easy to set up. Our speeds went up by nearly 5x's over our previous modem.

purchased to replace a leased spectrum modem, COMPATIBLE, BUT REQUIRED A CALL TO SPECTRUM IN ORDER TO ACTIVATE ON THEIR SYSTEM. After connecting, speeds were initially super slow because the modem wasn’t registered with Spectrum. A quick call to spectrum customer service, and the rep registered the modem’s ID with the Spectrum system. Now I’m getting fast and reliable downloads. If it lasts about two years I’ll recover the purchase price.

Works perfectly. Setup was very easy; just took a quick call to my ISP. Upgraded service from 40 Mbps to 200 Mbps and swapped in this modem for an older Arris Surfboard model. The extra Ethernet-out port is nice but I don't think it's supported by my ISP so I haven't used it yet.

Big improvement over my previous modem. I was actually get the download speeds I’m pay comcast for.

It Connected easily and i get over 2 gig down but still only get 40 meg up so i take 1 star away for that. As usual Arris and Cox are pointing fingers at each other as the cause for the slow uploads.

Dead simple to set up. Great performance. No longer suffering from the occasional unexplained loss of Internet access that the Spectrum modem was experiencing (and required a reboot to fix). Great solution.

I was able to connect it and get my access quickly. Set-up was easy, but better instructions might be helpful to someone not having some technical knowledge.

It has been 6 years since I purchased a modem. My old modem was working fine but sppeds began to lag. I have gigabit internet and a recommendation was made to move up to the S33. It is a very compact workhorse! I have had nothing but great speeds and connectivity with this modem. Hopefully it lasts another 6 years and I can continue to save on the modem rental fees from Xfinity! Would surely purchase again.

I plugged it in, when through the Xfinity/Comcast app to get it permissioned, took less than 3 minutes. It’s now been on and working flawlessly since the date of install. We get maximum down/up speeds as allowed by our ISP plan. Simple, easy, and just works!

This modem connected quickly and has worked flawlessly. I am in a Cox Communications area. I have not seen the high temperature concerns that some reviewers have mentioned. That feedback had originally pushed me to buy the Netgear CM3000. I could not get that Netgear modem to work reliably, so I returned it and went with this Arris Surfboard S33.

Really great quality product. Installation was easy, just plug it in and go. It smaller yet performs better than the one Comcast gave me. When you consider you're saving $15/month by owning your own modem it becomes a great value that pays for itself.

Pros: As fast as DOCSYS 3.1 gets (maybe?); works well with the BE15000 router that was purchased during the same in store transaction. (Jason at the Salem Best Buy was critical in helping make my final decision. He explaned a more details than I was expecting. Jason had also bought one himself in the past but had gone woth a mesh system. I let my wallet make thr judgment call there as the eero are expensive but i wanted Wifi 7.) Cons: Thermals might be perfect as it gets very warm but the performance is great. Overall: I hope they make a model black. I love the single status light being on tge front that stops at a solid on state and is easy on the eyes at night.
