We had the s33 modem, but discovered that for faster Xfinity Upload speeds, we needed to upgrade to this. Once we did, our new 2 Gig plan works like a charm!! We have this modem plugged into the Eero Max 7 Wifi system and we are super happy. Modem setup was a flash, Xfinity only needed the modem MAC address and we were in business!

Needed to upgrade to a new modem and glad we chose this one. It works well with our Google Nest devices as well as external security cameras. No issues with connectivity or performance. Would definitely purchase it again if we needed to.

Imagine getting this super fast cable modem for free. Well, it's not free to purchase, however, with Xfinity fees eliminated this great cable modem pays for itself in just over a year. Given its advanced nature, it will be both paid for and then a monthly saver by the following year. Installation was a breeze. The small footprint is a bonus. Feel the need for speed?

Great modem. Running at well above 500 Mbs/sec. I trust this more than the "free" s cable modem/router supplied by Sparklight. I got this based on a replacement via the BestBuy protection Plan. House struck by lightning . Limited number of indication lights as to older version but it works well. Go for it.

The Arris Surfboard modem was easy to set up and performs well. The activation with my cable company was the longest activity in the process.

I've always purchased high end netgear nighthawk modems and wifi equipment. After Xfinity caused yet another issue with my netgear modem, I took a chance on the Arris s34. I'm happy to report that the speed is actually faster with this modem that is half the price! Thanks Arris!

Great modem, small package so it does not use a lot of space and it has great speeds. Only negative is that they don’t provide an Ethernet cable which is unfortunate but overall a good product.

Best Buy’s service was great! I really appreciate their router trade-in program, which gave me 15% off. This router works well so far — good speed and performance — but it does get noticeably hot during use.

So far its working fine, I have a gig plan from Xfinity but I'm only getting 800-850 when hard wired to my Nighthawk 5400 router Does run very hot over 120 deg.

I truly didn’t think this would make that much of a difference and I was wrong was finally able to see my speeds increase. If you have a 1G plan then this will allow you to see what you are paying for.

Works well, get gigbit speeds being paid for but can go faster for future. Easy setup

Purchased this modem to upgrade my SB6183 to eventually get a higher download speed package with Xfinity. So far it works flawlessly. Already getting a bit higher download speed.

Works great and does not get any hotter than any other cable modem we had. It is on the top of a big desk with plenty of air flow from all sides though. It does work with RCN/Astound cable internet systems even though it is not on their approved list. I pay for 300mbps upload and I am able to get 600mbps with this modem. I would recommend this again.

What a great successor to the 1 Gbps Arris modem. No more using ISP equipment as the Arris is simply far more reliable, both in terms of throughput and uptime. Ditch the ISP modems and go with Arris. Solid. Dependable.

Works perfectly as it should. I purchased with an Orbi 371 mesh router and that is terrible. I may go back and try the Arris modem/router combo to simplify things.
