This is a great buy for cable cutters. Works really fast. Set up takes a few minutes. I had to call my ISP (Blue Ridge) to get it online.

Great modem, does everything the average user needs. Be aware that you need a wireless router to be able to use WiFi

I live in an APT and pages loaded so slow, read I need modem with more channels. This thing roars, pages are super super fast. Best investment ever. Warning there is no port for wireless,. this goes direct to computer. So cable in, wire out to Comp. I went cable in, wire to wireless router then to comp. Works but a little slower speed. Not sure if they sell a a combo at this many channels, but speed is still blazing along on pages and very happy with this modem . Don't get linksy 20492 very weak wiresless. go with a Belkin. Now I save not needing the COX modem every month. They are so slow! I have preferred speed and this modem is well suited for that and much more.

I'm using this with a 300 Mbps X 20 Mbps plan with my cable internet provider. I'm getting faster than what I'm paying for. Super reliable modem and easy to activate.

Replaced an older version with this one. Super easy to install. After plugging in, only needed to call cable company so they could activate new Mac ID. It’s super fast.

Recently my ISP upgraded their Internet speed for all their customers in the area. I was previously getting 30 down and 5 up. They upgraded my speeds to 200 down and 20 up. Unfortunately for me, my previous modem could not handle the new speeds. My ISP gave me two options, either rent a modem from them for an additional $10 a month or purchase a new one. They provided me a list of approved modems. I have always had Motorola modems and they have never failed me. Luckily for me, this Motorola modem was on the list.

It was time for a new modem and the ARRIS - DOCSIS 3.0 Cable Modem was my choice. It was easy to set up and I am getting pretty good speed on the internet, so I am happy

Spent a bit of time reviewing the Motorola (now Arris) unit and was glad I did. It helped me make up my mind. I have a SB6121 I wanted to upgrade and I decided to stick with Surf Board. Pretty seamless install and works with Comcast cable provider. Overall happy about the purchase so far.

I bought this in order to eliminate the $10 per month that Comcast charges to rent a modem from them. It was easy to hook up and I've been getting the speed that I'm paying for.

I had my first one for 5 years and started having problems with my internet dropping, thought it was the modem especially since BB told me after 5 years these seem to malfunction. Bought a new one (same model) only to find out my problem was with Comcast (they can't get anything right) I kept the new one anyway and it is still a bargain and replacing modems/routers with Comcast is a hassle (they make it that way) they immediately want to charge to come out and "lease" their modem. By buying this modem instead of leasing theirs I am still around $400 ahead and this modem IS reliable.

Upgraded to this modem due to new TWC speed plan upgrades upcoming in 2015. The modem has been operating for about 2 months without any issues. This modem replaces my old SB6121 which was a work horse as well and never had any issues for 3 years. TWC and I have issues but the modem is solid.

I purchased this modem to eliminate my Comcast router rental fee. The modem has performed great in my home network. I have not had any issues with it and I can definitely say I would buy another if needed. In my area, I am paying for 100Mbit/second download and 10Mbit/second upload. I usually get more on both when I am directly connected via ethernet to the modem. From a wireless connection my speeds are horrible. This may be due to my seven year old Airport Extreme. I will be upgrading it soon to see if my wireless speeds improve.

Bought this modem because I was tired of leasing one from Time Warner Cable. This one supports Turbo 200-300 and is one of the approved modems on their list. Works perfectly and is small.
