I decided to go ahead and get a modem instead of using ones from a cable provider. I was not disappointed! Modem has very reliable connection and gets very fast speeds!

Comcast/Xfinity approved. Plugged it in and it worked as expected. Embedded web server provides lots of good info to assist with debugging if needed.

So far after getting this installed through my TV provider, this has been working fine. NO issues. No setup problems.

This is a fast modem. But (and this is important) it does not completely replace your Sparklight or other ISP modem. For instance, it has no firewall. If you connect a device to this modem, you had better have one of your own. Since I have an entire house and business running off of mine, I created a pfSense firewall and everything goes through it. If you don't have a hardware firewall, you will have to rely on your Antivirus or Windows Firewall.

I bought this for my business to avoid paying comcast lease fees on their modem. Not only is this modem smaller and lighter, its also much faster than the comcast-issued boxes. I have not experienced any downtime while using this modem like I had with comcasts box.

Got this modem when my last one stopped working - staff at the store recommended this one and he was right - it was very easy to set up / install and works great

Don't have any issues with the modem. I needed one compatible with Comcast, and it even says on the front of the box who they're compatible with. Took the guessing game away.

I got this modem since I was tired of paying my internet provider a monthly cable modem rental fee. This ting will pay for itself in no time. The speeds it's capable of are sweet! Along with an upgraded router, my internet has never been more stable or fast. It took a little bit to activate the modem (I had to call my provider to activate it and the first person I talked to had no clue about how to do this), but eventually they got it sorted out and I'm very pleased with the speeds and stability. As my internet provider increases their speeds, this modem will keep up (at least until gigabit internet comes to my area).

This is the first time I went and bought a modem rather than rented. Definitely worth it. I get the speed I want and have absolutely no problems with it. Easy set up.

This modem was very easy to set-up and relatively inexpensive compared to other modems. It serves the purpose in my household.

Modem was easy to set up and works great with Comcast. I have been a customer of Motorola modems for 10 years now and have not had any problems with them; very reliable.

Motorola Arris SURFboard 600 series SB6183 installed easily without a problem. Allows my internet provider to max out on speed.

Gives me good speeds and setup was easy. Only been using for a few months,so hopefully it will last.

purchased this for my new tv i purchased. Does what it is supposed to do. Have had no issues. Does get warm to touch but read that is normal

I'm signed up for 5.0 Mbps and apparently my provider is providing 7.5+ Mbps. This modem easily keeps up. plus it looks cool. lights up like a Christmas tree. LOL

I gave Comcast back their modem, put $12/month back in my pocket, plugged this modem in, turned it on, and that 's all I needed to do. As easy as tech gets. Of course Comcast continues to bill me for the returned modem and I have been fighting with them for the last month. I also bought a refurbished Tivo DVR direct from Tivo for $50 (plus their subscription fees), gave Comcast back their lame DVR, put $20/month in my pocket, and cut the cord. Couldn't be happier with the Tivo as well.

This Modem came highly recommended. its FAST!!!! don't pay a monthly fee to cable provider for a mediocre modem. this is a great modem at a great price

My second Motorola, my first could not handle the 200 mbps to old I guess. Easy to install, had to call my provider (TWC) to activate and upgrade to 200 mbps, then I was up to blazing speed. My down load averages between 220 and 238 on most days. Can't complain.

Very fast. Very reliable. Good buy, don't buy the lower model than this. This is will handle the future speeds they are upgrading in most of the USA this year and next.

I really like how easy Arris cable modems are to install, their reliability, and how long they last. I had my last one for 8 years (seriously) but have since upgraded my connection speed (70mps to 400mps) and needed a cable modem that could handle it. The more expensive model can handle way more than I need, so I found this one and its perfect!
