Got this so I didn't have to pay to rent the comcast one, this is fast reliable and still running great 2 years later.

I switched over from a rented xfinity modem to this and I am very pleased. Faster speeds, less reboots, and no monthly rental charge!

It was so easy to install and configure. Anyone can do it. i didn't even had to call the cable company. The speed is great and It just works!!!

It works like a champ! My old modem was out of date and this one increased my speed by 3 fold. Works great!

Since I was setting up a home ethernet network that included a TimeCapsule, I had to reconfigure the TimeCapsule via AirPort Utility under the Internet tab's Internet Options to Link-local only, no checkmark to Use dynamic global host name, saved, & under Network tab chose Router Mode: Off (Bridge Mode), saved & clicked Update to restart the TimeCapsule. When a few of my Apple iOS WiFi devices failed to connect, I rebooted the Arris SURFboard 600 Series Docsis 3.0 Cable Modem and then every WiFi device linked perfectly! Excellent cable modem!

Stop renting your modem and buy. It saves you money. Cox cable is going a lower model of this one. This is a great modem. Very high speed.

Wow the router replaced the one I was renting fr TWC. This one iabso much faster and more reliable. I will never go back to renting a modem.

Ease of installation and set up were a big plus. I think it is a great device for the price.

Works fine and you save money in the long run vs paying your cable provider to "rent" their device each month. Replaced a Motorola that would lose connection after owning for 5 years. I hope this will last longer - we shall see. It did take a couple of restarts (unplug/plug in) after calling my cable provider to inform them of my new modem to fully connect to the internet. Otherwise smooth sailing. Works for what I need.

Got this and set up was a breeze, I have had no problems and it is fast. Best Buy priced matched and I couldn’t be happier

This modem is really fast and it also maintains a better connection than the one from the cable company.Nice that I don't pay a rental fee any more.

The Arris Cable Modem was easy to install. Once online the modem provided excellent sustained download and upload speeds. I would buy again.

i was originally renting a modem from time warner. i didnt not want to keep paying them for something i could have myself. upon looking for a modem the sales associate pointed me in the direction of this model. i decided to fork out the extra money and get the higher quality one. i know it will pay for itself within a year. and i am very happy with the purchase. i have had no problem with my internet. it is fast moving with no issues. definitely happy with the purchase and money spent. well worth it. only wish it was in black instead of white ;)

This is a better modem than what my cable company provided by far. The downside is now that there is a new player in the market, bringing fiber, my cable company magically increased my speeds (at no additional cost! well, except the modem rental fees) to 300Mbps down. this modem is not compatible with the way the higher speeds are delivered. On my cable system, it is limited to 100Mbps. They make a different model that will receive up to 300 down, but I am content with 100 until fiber comes to my house - that day will be the last day I have cable!

I replaced my modem after the previous one lost signal and it was apparent to me that the SB 6183 was the clear choice. The speed is great, reliability has been excellent, and the setup was as easy as anything else I've ever done.

Great modem. Very easy to install, no issues with our isp trying to detect it on their network. Provides a great combo with our wireless router.
