This modem has been realize, and has great speeds, but the lights are too bright. I have it connected in the living room where my TV is, and its a little bothersome. I've gotten used to it, but just thought I'd mention it.

I upgraded my internet service and this modem worked great the first time. It brought our home into the gaming level my son required.

I bought this modem when I moved to a new house. Worked perfectly with xfinity internet service. The install tech told me the more expensive ones don't really improve the speed much. After the installation this is one of those things you buy and forget as long as it keeps working. Connected the modem to google mesh wifi and haven't had to mess with home network since. Best value for price and performance.

It is capable of any speeds my provider has and will handle future upgrades. Reliable connection.

Bought this modem so that I didn’t have to pay the monthly equipment rental charges from Comcast. This has served well so far, was easy to setup, no issues with compatibility with Comcast.

I was going to pick up a modem/router combo but the rep suggested on doing them separately. I'm so glad I listened to him. Super fast speeds. I finally was able to get the speed I was paying for through Comcast. Been renting their modems and I was barely getting 20 mbps when I was paying for 100 mbps. With the nighthawk and this modem, I was able to get that all over the house in all bedrooms and downstairs!! I love it!

Good reviews, easy setup, compatible with Time Warner Cable. Unit provides fast response with no problems streaming multiple devices.

The ARRIS was a reasonable price. The installation was simple and a quick call to Comcast had it up and running.

THIS MODEM IS JUST WHAT IT SAYS ON THE SPECS. IM READY FOR THE NEXT UPGRADE IN INTERNET SPEEDS.

Arris and Motorola are the standards from cable modems. This reliable and setup is easy. Wish it had more controls and info on it's homepage but unless paying a lot more money, this is what you get. Others costing much more can not provide beyond what your Internet Provider is allowing (or you are paying for) and this will work beyond what I am paying for at this time.

This modem is small and light compare to the one my Cable Provider sent also its way faster

This modem was easy to set up and works well. My family uses four computers at the same time and have no issues.

Just plug in and go. No required configuration. I have only had it for one month, so I do not know how dependable it is but I am routinely getting 170 mbs on the speedtest.

Handles high speed internet well, is compact and easy to manage. I’m very happy with the surfboard!

After two attempts with a competing brand that I had long trusted as a modem provider, I switched to the SB6141. As I was in contact with the cable provided to connect it, they informed me that my bandwidth would be increasing to 300 Mbps around year's end due to a merger, so I should exchange the modem for the SB6183. I have not regretted following the cable provider's suggestion. Since install a month ago, the connection has never broken and I actually receive slightly more bandwidth than our account limit.

So having connectivity issues with my arris 3.0 combination modem/router ($300) and decided to go separate. Bought this modem bc recommended by my ISP; they only have 8 download channels so this router was sufficient to handle. Also the little more expensive modem (6190 if memory correct) had more channels and capable of more speed but there were complaints out there about a defective chip. Chose this one. Immediately better than my combination for about three weeks; now have connectivity issues again so I am becoming convinced it's my isp provider that is falling short on their end. Overall it seems better than the combo for performance but if the ISP is the issue than who knows!

We upgraded from a leased cable modem. This was easy to set up and it works great! Saving a little on our cable bill as well.

Got this to replace TWC rental modem, works far better than rental modem. Noticeable faster!

Fast reliable and good for fast and reliable connection.

I bought this because I was informed from doing online research and talking with a Blue Shirt that these modems are made to match Infinity Internet specs. Works good and price was reasonable too.
