Reliable connection. Purchased it to increase my speed - previously had one supplied to me by my internet company.

i got tired of "renting" a modem from the cable co., so I purchased my own modem. No problem with setup at all and I am actually getting a little more speed. I would recommend this one for sure.

No reason NOT to recommend it. Extremely easy set up, speed is great and should last for a good long time. Very happy I stopped leasing the modem from the cable company, and got my own. ALSO, check to make sure your modem from your cable provider is up to the speeds you are paying for from them. For three years I paid for something that the modem which I was renting was not capable. They literally had nothing to say about that when I pointed it out to them....

Received a notice from my ISP that my cable modem was out of date. Went to get this one based on some research and I've loved it. Signal is stable and I've reached much faster speeds. Note: I did have to reset my apple extreme for everything to work but once I did that everything has been great! I have 3 boys that play a ton of online games (Xbox and PS4) as well and this works great.
