The modem is rock stable. We get 356Mb per sec with speed test. This satisfies or xfinity performance SLAs. Very happy with our purchase. The Best Buy had an excellent price and great customer service.

Take that COX!

She'd been paying $120 a year for god knows how long. And the thing such enough power to cause brownouts in the neighborhood. Now this little fella is nestled up in the closet and taking care of business. Running 100/10 like a champ. Next step is to get Mom off cable on onto Flix.

Fast.....but
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.My new SB6183 delivers blazing speeds BUT at least a couple of times per day it disconnects from Comcast, my internet provider, and won't reconnect without a 'power down' and reconnection to get back on line. Most annoying when right in the middle of a Netflix movie or enjoying a program on HBO GO. The speed is amazing however. I'm paying for Comcast Blast which is advertised as 60mbps down and 10mbps up. What this modem actually gives me is 90-100mbps down and 12mbps up which is fantastic. Just wish that it would stay connected for 24hrs without dropping the connection. Seems weak from a signal standpoint.
