    My service provider is optimum and this modem is compatible. It doesn’t include router but anyway optimum charges for only modem so you can use their router and use this to save 10$ per month. For make it working you need to call Optimum as they need to add the MAC address to their system and allow it to work perfectly.

    It's been 2 years and is still going strong. This was a recommended modem for Spectrum internet. Hookup was easy and all I had to do was contact Spectrum to activate it.

    This is a great modem for a simple home network. If you're feeding a router or a hub, you'll be just fine. However, if you need to feed a router and a switch (like I did), this modem won't work for you!! Setup is too easy. Plug it in and go. It programs itself in a matter of minutes. And you're off to the races. If you are in need of something straight forward, this is a perfect choice.

    The modem is fast, problem free and easy to setup. My only complaint is that it lights up the whole room from the blue and white leds inside and outside the device.
