Excellent purchase - saving $15 a month for modem rental. Also, has plenty of room for extreme speed as the cable providers increase the speed of our internet! Cable providers support it & I am extremely pleased. The quality of this modem seems to be far superior to those rented from the cable providers. Was up & running in 15 minutes! Thank you Best Buy!

Took about 30 min on the phone with Cox, and multiple reboots during that process, but the ul/dl speeds are much faster than the modem Cox provided. It will take a little over a year to pay for itself since I don't have to pay the rental fee. very stable, so far I have only had to restart it once, and that may have been due to a Cox outage. Very happy I switched.

My old modem and wireless router were getting pretty old. I spent a good while looking at different reviews and models. This seems like the very best, easily available modem out there. I am pretty sold on Motorola equipment at this point. Anyway, modems are much easier to install and set up than they were even a couple of years ago. I have absolutely no complaints.

great modem. Didn't want to continue renting a modem and router from the cable company at $15 a month so I purchased my own from Best Buy. Ordering was easy and install after 2 calls to customer service was a breeze as well. Have not had any issues.

Only my laptop was able to connect and it was incredibly fast however I was unable to get my WiFi router to work on it. Or the 2nd router I purchased. I attempted different ways to configure but never got it working and the customer service from their site was not very helpful. However I returned it and got the slightly slower step down that had WiFi built in. That one works great with multiple devices and easy to configure.

Easy to install; great for faster speeds. Can't wait to upgrade Cox.

This unit works well and is easy to hook up. Not sure what else to say except that it's a bit faster than the model below this one. Presently hooked up to Comcast & I upload HD video & my nephew does a lot of online gaming. Last unit fried because cable line got hit by lightning. This can happen to any modem. No issues yet, had unit for 2 months.

I bought this Modem so I wasn't tied to my cable company renting one. This modem surpasses any speed I can reach but theirs always room to upgrade my internet service in the future and this can handle it. Reviews were great and Best Buy pick up at store worked well and was convenient.

This router was one of the ones recommended by Time Warner Cable during my upgrade to 100mb speeds. Unlike other combo routers and wireless routers, this router has simply one power source, a usb connector, and a cable connector and one for the network cable. Couldnt be easier to set up. My only minor quibble is that it is a bit pricy. Also as a positive, this router takes up very little space and is super light. By using my own modem rather than renting or leasing one, I am also saving $5 per month every month with Time Warner.

Purchased this because my old cable modem only supported 4 download channels and my service supports 8 channels. My speed increased from 115 Mbps to 116 Mbps. Also my speeds were not as consistent as they were with my old cable modem. Even so, I would have kept it except that we use this in the bedroom and the blue lights are so bright that they light up the whole room at night. Unfortunately I had to return this unit.

After reviewing several options, I selected the ARRIS - DOCSIS 3.0 Cable Modem for use with my new cable service. I'm very pleased with this item. It was a snap to install and get up to running. I've had not problems / issues to date with the product. I would recommend this to anyone who needs to purchase a cable modem.

Returned my internet service provider's modem due to a recently imposed rental fee of $10.50/month. The new modem I purchased was easy to install, activate and will pay for itself in less than a year; thereafter I will be saving $126/year in rental fees. I highly this product.

Ended up getting a free one from my cable company instead. Best Buy had it on sale the day before, but they wouldn't honor the same in store the day after. Kind of $$ for what it is. Returned. My cable co has Ubee (modem w/router) and Technicolor (modem w/ route + phone). If you buy, try to get a speed at least 2-3x higher than what you currently have for future expansion and design factor overhead.

For the first time, after living in my home for 33 years, I got cable. I wanted a little faster internet than I could get on my dsl, so went with the cable modem with router for wifi. Very easy set up, wanted the wifi for my phone and guest access for laptop or phone. Very happy with the results.
