I had no problem getting it hooked up to my Internet provider it is a major upgrade from what I had Internet speed is almost instant So never believe that it is your hardware aka your computer But it is you're Internet and the hardware that makes the difference the better the equipment is the better your life will be

If you have cable and you are not using this, then you are not utilizing your Internets true potential!!! I purchased this to run with an Asus RT-AC3200 and I am testing over what I am paying for, for Suddenlink. Speeds that suddenlink said i wouldn't hit. I highly recommend even if you are not paying monthly for a modem from your internet subscriber.

My twc modem is running slow and slow and friend of my recommended this modem and first keep searching online and finally can't wait to run in the Best Buy store and get one and it turn out boom my internet speed is on top of my actual speed. Loving it thank you Best Buy.

Works great, and plenty fast for my purposes (mostly surfing the net). My ISP plan is for 75 mbps, and the SB6183 regularly gives me about 90 mbps. It is supposed to be good for up to 300 mbps, so I have headroom if I wish to move to a faster plan.

I do not know much about technical stuff , but installation was as easy as 123, and so far my Internet irs fast and steady.

I love my new modem. I bought this because the modem and router that spectrum was providing did not work with their 400 speed. I couldn’t stand having 100 speed with teaching at home so I went and bought my own. I get such fast Internet now.

Works great. I have mine paired with an eero system and it works flawlessly. Do note that the max download speed is just over 600mb/s, and now that cable and fiber companies are offering 1000mb/s, you're probably better off paying $10 more for the next model up from this one.

Nice modem easy installation fair price saves from rental fees

Great, compact, affordable product that quickly pays for itself. Cable company’s charge a rental fee for modems usually around $10.00 per month. This little guy is a great way to avoid monthly rental fees and own your own modem.

Bought this model to replace my cable modem which had an integrated WiFi router. Since I created my own Mesh network throughout my home, I didn’t want signals to clash. So I bought this as a simple modem to make my cable connection. Price was great. Why pay the cable company.

I bought this to use with cox communication. It's on thier list of approved modems but they wouldn't let me use it. I got it cause I know the brand and ARRIS PRODUCTS have never let me down before. I didnt get to use it but I set it up and it was easy 1 2 3.

The Arris Surfboard has replaced my Optimum rented modem. It is not only better than the modem provided by Optimum but it pays for itself in less than a year. I have been renting a modem for Optimum for 10 years and wished that I had purchased this item sooner.
