If your internet connection is under 686 Mbps and you dont need a phone line, this is the perfect modem. Backside has one powerport, one input for cable internet and one lan port to give to a router. Works like a charm and is able to transfer the full available speed, I tested it on Comcast blast 75Mbps.

Great product, very fast, easy to use and install!

Purchased for ugrade about 2 months ago....got a price match $10 off...plugged it in..called cox with mac addy...power cycled with router...presto setup in about 15 mins...paying for 50 download...getting 45 to 60 consistently early morning and 40 to 55 rest of the day on netgear wifi n....need I say more!!!! :)

It has a Simple design, easy to setup and very fast.

After much research, I chose to purchase this modem. Very pleased with the result and the unit's performance. Definitely recommend this one as a step up from lower-end models, and can't wait for DOCSIS 3.1 to be finally made available to end consumers.

This is a great modem and it was everything I was looking for. The only two things I don't like is that it has a light inside of the modem. At night it is very bright and shines through all the many holes on the case. Not sure why they designed it that way. Would have preferred it not to light up. It also gets warm on the outside, probably because of the added internal light.

Works great @ 50mps with Cox. Have 2 hd TV, 2 iPads, 1 pc connected. Had to call Cox to change modems. Got new wireless router at same time, had to update router firmware to get to work together without intermitent lock ups but this was not a problem with modem. Good modem, happy with purchase and reduced Cox bill!

Cable modem Rocks. Excellent download speeds. Perfect for movies, gaming or logging into your 16 cameras, home automation or whatever. It actually saves money with the cable co. also by owning your own modem.

Good price and was easy to install. It has worked reliably for 2 years.

Upgraded from the SB6141. I love technology and love to stay on top by having the latest and greatest. When I noticed an updated modem had come out I had to have it. Speeds increased by 30% just from the previous model; pulling 190MB. Also see a difference when multiple users on network watching Netflix. Great Buy!!

This is my first cable modem that I bought, I've alway had a DSL modem. I had AT&T cable modem and it was the worst modem and worst service that I've ever had for the past 10 years. I have Charter with a cable modem, so this modem is the best. The speeds that I get are 100x faster than AT&T could ever give anyone.

We purchased this in lieu of paying Cox a monthly rental fee and are VERY happy we did. It works great, was super easy to connect and we've had zero issues. The cost will pay for itself in a matter of months, compared to renting from the Cable company.

Its amazing how fast and easy this product is. I needed a nice box that Cumcast wasnt usi g to spy on me from. Pornhub loads fast, even while my wife is in the other room talking to guys she meets on OK Cupid, and my neighbors try to piggyback.

Not a expert but this was one of those things I have been meaning to upgrade fro a while. Install was straight forward but it was a bit confusing since the provider had some issue and thought it was defective since it did NOT show GREEN lights. When operating this modem has to BLUE lights.

Works great so far. I had to contact my ISP to get it to work with their system and they raised our monthly cost slightly since we also dropped our phone with them but it is nice not needing to rent from them anymore. If I didn't need a switch with more ports I would have been interested in the wifi router version.

It functions well and serves its purpose but is a low-end modem. It works well if you are doing 100 or lower mbps and if you do not need a second network jack or a phone jack. If you are just wanting something low end to avoid the mothly rental costs of your ISP then this could be a good option. Plus the price point is reasonable.

This was a compliment buy to the router I bought. It is working great too! The guy at Best Buy knew what he was talking about. It was an easy set up and there have been no problems since getting hooked up. Life is good again. Separating the router and modem is the best thing I've done in a long time.

Easy to install. Configuration is easy through the GUI. Highly recommend. I didn't want to spend a lot of time or effort configuring this device. I didn't it was that easy. The only additional step I had to perform was to contact my ISP with the new router info. It comes with an info card. It was easy.
