Purchased this so I could stop paying a monthly fee to cable company for their modem. I like the small size as it fits in my entertainment center better than the bulky ones. I had the modem unpacked, plugged in, and working in less than 5 minutes.

Innovative Macbook Air looks and works great. Can get pricey when adding memory but our 5 year old one is still running after HS and college, so it has outlasted o=all of our PCs to-date and thus the durability may be worth it

I purchased this because the modem that my internet provider kept causing my internet to disconnect. It was very easy to set up and since I've bought it, the internet has been very stable now.

I've had this modem for almost two years now and I've had good performance with no issues. I run it with a basic Xfinity service (100 Mbs). It works well with my WiFi router.

Cable company seemed to have a difficult time activating it.. Only issue I saw was that I needed to restart it when plugging into laptop and then into router or another device for testing. Working great so far and fast internet. I'm now a fan of having a separate modem/router.

This is a good modem that was fairly easy to set up. The speed depends on your ISP, but it seems quite fast.

I purchased this as an upgrade to my previous SurfBoard modem so that I could get better speed from my ISP. This modem delivered. I can certainly tell a difference with switching to this modem, as well as upgrading my speed. The new Amped Wireless touch screen router was a nice addition as well.

Works great! A little pricey but meets my needs. My nephew hooked it up for me as I am not saavy with this kind of thing. I stream now, no need to pay ripoff prices from our local cable company.

I go this to accompany my new Asus wireless router and because this has more channels to select from the speeds for my internet have been awesome 100+mbps. I work from home and my home is fully wireless from phones to computers and gaming system. They all work great with the speeds this allows.

I dont do much gaming but me and my wife stream all the time. At the word of a co worker he recommended this modem when I purchased my new home instead of leasing from the internet company. I purchased this and a netgear router and could not be happier with the outcome.

The Arris is easy to install and was recognized by the Comcast network and automatically established the necessary settings. Didn't have to call customer support which is worth the price of the unit. It's been installed for over a month and so far the Modem has been stable and I have not had to reboot.

I changed my landline service recently to Comcast. They told me I'd need a new cable modem with a voice channel and capable of meeting DOCSIS 3.0 requirements. The Arris was the one on the list. It was easy to install and my phone service is working just fine.

Managed to get the connect from modem to my box at 300Mbps+. The cable guy was here and we both took pictures. Great product, just remember that you'll need a Gigabit switch/router to get the speed you're trying to get out of this modem. I had to swap my router b/c my connect was maxing out at 100 Mbps

Got this and a router to replace rented equipment from cable company. Save money in the long run and deprive the cable company at the same time! It works and I've never really had a problem in the 2+ years I've owned it.

The customer service provided by ARRIS was outstanding. A technician from SuddenLink told me my modem was bad. Upload speeds less than 1 Mb/s. Bought this modem and still had the same issue. Wonderful SuddenLink told me to contact the manufacturer. The Tech Support wit ARRIS took time to educate me on the Modem and its features. Put me on the web interface to the modem and working together we found the upload power from the cable provider was the issue not allowing the modem to function properly. Win for ARRIS. And I am sure you know what I think of our only cable provider.

Easy installation. when used with nighthawk 1900 extremely fast.

I have had this product for about 2 months. Since installation, I have had NO problems with it. Downloads exceed 50Mps and Uploads exceed 6Mps. (using Time Warner). It cam highly recommended and has lived up to that recommendation.

The modem has performed well so far. I have a “100MB” connection and I consistently see 50MB download speeds over WiFi. In the month or so I’ve had the modem I think I’ve reset it once but I have a feeling it’s more the network’s fault than the modem. I’d buy it again.

So far so good. Compatible with Optimum. Replaced Optimum's Arris router, did not notice any drop in speed. Switching the routers took a brief phone call with Optimum rep. and then a trip to an Optimum's store to return their router.

So glad we gave Optimum back their equipment and invested in our own. It has made such a difference in our connection. It’s nice to no longer be ripped off with a monthly “rental” fee for terrible equipment/service.
