It was not a planned purchase, so I had no time to research modems. I purchased this modem based on the BestBuy personnel. I went home, hooked it up and was up and running. It takes up minimal amount of space. The glow of the units works as a nice night light as well.

Read positive reviews on this item before choosing to purchase it at Best Buy (which also offered the best price). Really happy with the ability to set up separate login passwords and use MAC address and DHCP for smart TVs, PCs, Laptops, tablets, smartphones and guest devices!

When Comcast told me my existing modem was at end of life, I didn't think getting a new one would matter. I was wrong; I noticed immediately after setup that my download speed had increased considerably. This modem lets me take complete advantage of what I'm paying Comcast for.

Got upgraded to comcast Blast Pro internet speed 150 Mbps and I'm glad I got this model. There is basically no configuration to do, but it does have a page on the device where you can reset the modem when you need too. No complaints and it has been working flawlessly.

It works well easy to setup also compatible to the cable modem and a money saver.

This tv was so easy to set up. I read previous reviews about the tv just turning off, but I have not had that experience. Plugged it in and connected the wifi and have had no problems. The internal speakers are fine. I dont need a sound bar or anything.

Works as advertized with 60mb xfinity internet connection. Resonably priced.

Have been using a Surfboard 6141 for my TWC account for past 2 years very successfully. Saved monthly fees and performed flawlessly. Recently TWC upgraded my account to 300d/20u so I upgraded to the Surfboard 6183. It also performs flawlessly with speeds up to 345down / 23.5up.

I purchased this to keep save the monthly fee from Comcast. It was recommended by the installer and it works very well. Due to the incompetence of Comcast customer service, the installation took much longer than anticipated and the labor was more than what was anticipated.

I bought the 600 Series as the 800 was just released. It offers the bust price and highest capacity that will last several years without having to buy the top model. I also now have the capacity to increase my speed from my provider and the modem will be able to handle it.

Worked for nearly 6 full years with no interruptions. Three rooms with multiple users and devices always working with 150Mbs download speeds and Cox internet. RIP July 2015 - April 2021!

This is an amazing device and well worth it to get rid of the junk the BrightHouse and other cable company's dump on you also lets you have control of your own equipment so that they can't just change settings on you without you knowing about it keeping it at full speed for your plan

I purchased a new setup as I recently moved and the ever reliable Arris was my first choice. These last for as long as the signal is good and the standards don't change :) never had a problem with one of these modems and always get consistent performance.

You will need this modem if you wish to take advantage of Time Warner Cable internet upgrade. Which will be able to get you at 300mbps. (depending on where you live if available)

I bought this when I realized it was costing me to rent a modem from the cable company. When we decided to move, I decided to "cut the cord" (well, mostly). I got this modem. When the cable guy came to turn on our service, we just plugged in the modem and it worked great.

This is a great modem and was very simple to install. All i had to do was plug it up and activate the modem with my internet provider (which is Cox), and they gave me the rest of the instructions and I had internet within seconds.

Had to replace my old modem and wanted something that would increase my download speeds for work surfing and gamming. With 16 download channels I am now getting maximum performance from my internet supplier.
