Excellent modem - compatible with Cox cable. I had a bit of a problem with the serial numbers as Cox could not verify it. A phone call later on solved the problem.

I've had this modem for almost a year and it has been great. I've upgrade my speed to 1 gig recently otherwise I'd still be using this modem.

Switched to Comcast and didn't want to pay the Modem rental fee. I originally went with a less expensive Linksys modem, but could not get the fast speeds. Got the Arris SB6183 and now have lightning fast internet with no rental fees!

Bought this for one simple purpose, to avoid Time Warners increasing modem lease fees. This is a pretty future proof modem and will pay for itself over time by lowering my internet cost every month.

My internet was upgraded to 300 Mbps. With researching modems, time and time again I was pointed to this specific model. Called the cable company as soon as I got it so they could configure it. Within 10min of my time.. My internet is at 350Mbps. Love it

Honestly I did a lot more research than I would normally do, but I wanted to find the best modem and this was it. To bad I returned it because I did not need it anymore. But it was amazing while I had it! Highly Recommend

my old cable modem was about 10 years old and after I moved - Comcast informed me that the old Motorola modem was not recommended - as there were some issues encountered on it. So I just went out and got the fastest one that they had at Best Buy at the time.

Switched back to cable after watching UVerse plummet in speed and increase in cost. Do not like paying monthly for modem so I purchased this. Service at the house is 300MB x 30MB. Consistently get 330-350 x 30. Awesome device, works exactly as designed.

Quick and easy. This is my 2nd one. The first one I had for 6 years without a problem. Decided to upgrade a bit. Hey I'm 70 years old and not very tech savvy. I would highly recommend.

easy to install I am a comcast customer needing to replace an old modem. The installation process took only minutes to complete. Remember to connect any wireless router to the modem during the installation before plugging the modem to an outlet

I bought this modem as an upgrade to an ARRIS SB6121 when my broadband provider increased its speed. It does a great job at 200 Mbps with speed to spare. Would recommend to anyone looking to make the most out of a 150 to 500 Mbps connection.

Just plugged everything in and followed the directions and it all worked. I call that a win. No need to call, email or search for why it didn't work right the first time. Xfinity compatible.

Modem is capable of 16 downstream channels, so I purchased it in anticipation of service being upgraded in future from currently available 8 channels for download. Was only modem capable of more than 8 downstream channels at time of purchase (mid-Dec 2014), so shouldn't need a faster modem until 1 Gig service becomes available in my area. Haven't had any issues other than Cox not properly configuring firmware, had to get help from member of DSLreports.com to bond to more than 4 downstream channels.

This modem is stable and fast, which are the main things anyone is looking for in a modem. I plugged it to my Asus dual band Wi-Fi router and I love the pair! No more paying rental for a sub-par modem from Comcast!

I bought this modem because I've never really liked the modem router combo. If one of the things stop working you have to replace the whole thing. If you buy it separately then you just replace one thing. It does really well. I'm signed up for 50 MB with Xfinity, but I actually I usually am getting up to 120MB with this modem. I recommend it if your getting 50MB or more.
