I ditched uverse due to numerous internet issues and went back to Comcast. Rather than rent a modem from them I purchased this one and couldn't be happier. Fast, reliable and small.

Time warner upgraded out speed so we had to get a new Modem to support the new 300Mb internet speed ;-) plug and play install , super fast browsing ! Small footprint. Great product.

Set up was easy and took less then ten minutes. It has been working without a hitch for a little over month. Speeds are amazing I'm now getting what I'm paying for.

This modem maximizes the speed of my internet service. It's very easy to set up, has a small footprint, and performs flawlessly.

Not much to say other than this really is very fast, tiny, and easy to set up. Took me <5 min with TIme Warner, and I get at least 300Mbps down. No frills. No issues.

I gave the ID's to my cable rep and this device was active in minutes. I am very happy for this modem purchase and reccomended to mywhole family. I was debating between this item (Series SB6183), the next version up (SB6190), and the DOCSIS 3.1 version(SB200- for more than $100 more). I am likely to move in the next year, so when I saw the compatibilty issues with the SB6190, and the +$100 cost to go DOCSIS 3.1, the 6183 seemed perfect for me in this location and and any target move site for maximum speed and minimum latency for Vonage and my nephew's games. This modem works for all the cable co in the areas where I might move in the future when other modems were not on the current lists.. I have less than the maximum speed plan for my cable system even though this modem supports it. But having 16 download channels will help shield me from the neighbors hogging bandwidth when their kids come home in the afternoon and also when they spend the weekend with "video binges" which might also slow my connection. Our cable system will not force us to change to DOCSIS 3.1 for some years yet, so this 16x4 modem is the best bang for the buck on bandwidth and my nephews will be happy when the visit and play games. I am safe for years to come. When I move this is also the case, so it shows the national advantage.

I did a lot of research and have Xfinity Blast, it was recommended by a sales associate as well and it is amazingly fast!! No connection errors at all and easy set up.

this modem works fine and was easy to install. It works for me for Optimum in CT. After swapping the modem, I automatically got an Optimum webpage to register the new modem. One trick -- when it said it was rebooting the modem, it obviously didn't work - and I manually rebooted it -- voila - internet up and running. Performance seems smooth and possibly faster than the original Optimum provided modem. Easy to use / swap -- would recommend.

When I received notice that my cable company was raising the rental fee for my modem, I decided it was time to buy my own. This one is top of the line! It's a bit more than I need right now, as local speeds are below its maximum, but that leaves me room for system upgrades without becoming obsolete. Setup was simple and I was up and running in no time. Had to call the cable company and give them the Mac address and model number, but even that wasn't the pain I thought it might be. I've had this unit for 2 months now and no problems. Paired with a Netgear Nighthawk for wifi, and the combination has been rock solid!

I purchased this Cable Modem to get out from under Spectrum month to month $10.00 rental charge. It took around 15 minutes to get it snared and running, which was a great deal less demanding then I foreseen. I set aside the opportunity to affirm the current speed of Spectrum Technicolor modem before transforming it out which remained a normal 27MB every second which I was utilized to. After the introduce of the new Arris SURFboard... WOW!... my speed bounced up to a normal of 90MB a moment. I am extremely satisfied with the cost and operation of my buy.

There's no issues with this product. Only got this again because was replacing an earlier version purchased previously that had unfortunately died out after many years, so needed to upgrade to the next level, which also supports the better speeds that we weren't getting with the old one. These have always been reliable for the most part, and will serve you well over the years.

I can say for the first time I am finally getting the speeds 400/20 that I have been paying for without the hidden monthly cost of the modem from the cable company! It's nice to not have to reboot this modem anytime more than 1 person gets online!

....and its that the blue lights in front of the router are extremely bright in the dark. It wouldn't be much of an issue if you have it inside an office or a closed room, but in an area space like a living room, you can definitely see the intensity of the lights at night. As others suggested you could mask the lights with tape and paper, but that only takes away from the beautiful compact design, which was a factor in purchasing the product. But if you can get passed the brightness of the lights, this is an absolute amazing product that delivers beyond superb download and internet speeds.

Very fast and reliable modem. No longer rent one from TWC and haven't had to reboot it either like I had to do with TWC quite often. Easy to install and set up.

Easy to set up one quick call to Cox and it was operational. It's giving me speeds of 100 to 110 GIG. It is working flawlessly.

The Motorola arris modem I purchased was simple to install and setup. All you do is take your modem and replace the old one. Then you call your cable internet provider and give them the MAC address. This modem supports speeds that are usually much greater then your internet provider can give you. Depending on your market you might even get as much speed as what has been available in Europe for several years. You might even save money on modem rental fees.
