Purchased modem to receive updated ISP speeds. Quality modem that delivers fast download & upload speeds. Actually receiving more speed than suggested by ISP.

I have Comcast but didn't want to continue to rent my modem so I decided to buy my own instead. Very easy to setup, works great! Getting speeds higher than Comcast says my plan is at. Plan is at 75mbps and I am getting 90mbps. Unit does not have wi-fi which is fine since I got a new wi-fi router as well that's 5Ghz.

I have no idea what to write it's telling me there's a minimum of 50 characters. It's a cable modem it works and I've had no issues, what else can I type.

No issues. 2 months and counting! Blazing fast! Tech home. 3 smart tv's, 2 apple tv's, 4 tablets, 4 smartphones, and 1 PS4 w/ AC bridge and nighthawk router w/ high-speed internet. Never had an issue!

Originally purchased the 6190 and was really disappointed with the constant bugs that it came with. Until they roll out a fix, the 6183 is a beast and will do more than enough. No issues since day 1.

The first unit I received failed to performed as expected. After spending 4+ hours with Time Warner to debug this modem, I replaced this unit with the same model modem. This replacement unit worked well with Time Warner's 300 Mbps service. No problem replacing unit at Best Buy. Deducted 1 star due to the failed unit.

This cable modem does everything I need it to do. I like that it doesn't have all of the wifi built in since I use my own router anyways.

My old surfboard died after 5 or 6 years so after reading reviews on this one decided to stay with the line. I was not disappointed! We were capping at 30mb and are now getting the full 60 Charter offers.

Blazing fast nothing matches this beast - I have mine hooked up in the bedroom and its very bright !nd because the unit has holes on the outer case from head to toe - it casts evey hole on your wall and cieling

Works as advertised. Attractive design. The status LEDs could serve as landing lights at JFK, but a strip of tape tones them down. Seems to generate a lot of heat (why?) but no problem so far.

This modem does exactly what it needs to and is extremely stable. Can't beat the price for the speeds it is capable of and comes in a small form factor.

I purchased this as an alternative to renting a modem for my Spectrum internet. Setup was very easy, and I have had no issues with it.

I bought two of these to replace modems I was paying for to rent from COMCAST. Now I pay nothing to rent, I own them both and the way these handle the incredible speed COMCAST provides is awesome! Thank you ARRIS!

Don’t rent equipment from reloaded cable companies! Get your own which is going to be better and faster than what they provide, and stop renting

I bought it for my daughter who livesin an appartment at Temple University, it fits perfectly her need. She just hook up a Belkin router andser up wifi. This modem can work with Infinity and Verizon internet system. My daughter has no problem since she got it.

Had to replace the SB6141 modem after a lightning strike, so got the next model up. So far, it seems to be even more reliable than the previous one, requiring much fewer reboots, if any. A very solid performer.
