Very simple to set up and works great as far as I can tell. I am no expert with modems or internet speeds and clarity, but I can say that my video streaming for Netflix has definitely improved

What a difference it made after replacing my 3 year old modem. Speeds went up about 5 times when running speed tests. Glad I made the move. Will buy again!

To be honest, only had it for a day because i meant to buy the modern/router one. I still connected it that day and used it for PS4. It was extremely fast.

Had to replace TWC. Not enough speed to power my new smart tv from BB. This is ten times faster. No more problems. Techs in the store were great help.

Easy setup . No complaints . Once I called and canceled my previous modem , the rest was easy to take care of . Plugged in router too the modem and it was ready to go.

This modem is a great deal for its price. I rented from the cable company and thee modem was junk and this one is a ton better. I use it along with a Netgear router. Do not get a modem with a built in wifi.

I was sick of paying $10 a month to rent a modem from my cable provider. We bought this one and it was a seamless transition. I feel like I get better speeds now than I was before and I'm saving $10 a month!

This product was recommended by our internet provider and has worked as they said it would. It was easy to install and so far we have had no issues.

Easy to use and set up. Kinda wish that you could dim the lights or something. Also be nice if you could change the color of the lights

Works great when it stays cool, but I did have some problems with it overheating. There are about 6 inches of free space around all sides but it was on the bottom shelf so there wasn't really any air movement. Rather than relocating I plugged in a USB fan to move air behind it and have had zero issues since. If you place it somewhere there is any airflow, like out in the open, it would probably not cause any issues. Be weary if you intend to stick it in a closet or tight space though.

Bought this to replace cable modem rental and avoid monthly charge. Very easy setup on Optimum/Cablevision system. Should have done this sooner.

I had sb6141 before and the max speed is for 6141 is 343MBs, and I am using Comcast 250mbs, once I change to sb6183, and the max speed can go close to 300M, and reasonable price

I've run through a bunch of modems recently and this Arris has been the fastest and most stable of the bunch. I've typically used a modem for years before replacing, but recently a Netgear failed within a year, and a TP-Link failed quickly also. This Arris modem seems to resolve all that.

This is an Ok modem. It's supposed to be fast as I have 300 Mbps speed, but it's hard to measure the speed with my iPhone 6 or older laptops. I had to use a newer laptop using the Ethernet cable (has to be a new high speed cable, not any old Ethernet cable) to be able to get the 300 Mbps. Older laptop only got 100 mbps.

This modem was a replacement for a modem I bought just 2 years ago. I cannot believe the speed difference. Surfing the web has never been faster or our family and upload and download speeds are incredible too.

Used instead of a SuddenLink provided system with my netgear router and was able to provide fast paced WiFi for a house of four with multiple laptops, as well as a gaming set up

Got tired of renting a modem from Comcast and this thing works like a charm. It has long paid for itself and no more dealing with Comcast!

Bought this to replace and upgrade a cable modem from my provider. This worked well - and seemed to have higher speed than what Mediacom modem provided.

Plug and play. Buy it BEFORE you contact your cable company. Pay a reasonable one time cost for your modem & keep yourself from being gouged month in, month out, year in, year out by the cable company.

I was having trouble when I got internet. I had an older router and modem. I replaced both of those and now my internet zips! This is a great product!
