I had concerns since my ISP tends to be annoying in terms of which modem you can use. During our initial set up, the lights came on but nothing happened. We did some troubleshooting, went online, reset everything. Turns out we had to call our ISP to reroute service to that modem. Knowing that would have saved me a ton of time lol. Hardwired connection is great, we have an eero system, a smart light hub, and a gaming pc connected to it and it's been able to handle everything just fine. We don't see lapses in speeds during peak times.

My hi speed internet package is 300mbps and my old arris couldn't handle that (although the box said it would. check your internet provider to see what modem you need to reach the right speeds.) I got this one cause it said gigabyte speed, which is awesome because my area will soon have that service...so might as well. Now I'm getting +300mbps. If you're package is under 50mbps you don't need this one. Because like me, it's like driving a lamborghini in traffic. Hardware is compact, small, and simple to connect! Good buy if you want to spend the money and are getting gigabyte speeds.

I recently switched to Xfinity from AT&T and decided to not pay the ridiculous monthly fee to rent Xfinity's equipment and I'm glad I purchased this particular unit. It is expensive (could be worse) but it definitely future proofs me for years to come as it supports up to 10 GB/s. As far as installation goes, it was simple and worked as soon as the Xfinity tech was able to get the service activated at my address. Overall, so far no issues and the unit works as advertised!

Third modem by arris. Easy to setup like first one I had. Good performance and simple guided setup manual. Faster and better connectivity allowing me to have faster internet.

Easy installation of product. I saw an increase in speed from the previous model which was a SB6141. This one works great with xfinity cable internet.

Upgraded my cable internet to 1Gbps. I am using the Netgear Nighthawk R7000 router. This was easy to setup and has improved my connectivity.

Purchased this along with a new Asus router to replace a Linksys combo model that did not play nicely with Roku devices being used to access SlingTV. This modem is compact and has worked flawlessly. It gets warm, like all modems seem to do, and it is slow to boot, like all modems seem to be, but it works well with the Asus router, and I have had not problems with it at all. It is a little pricier that some models, but you get what you pay for.

I was in need of a new modem as the previous one was zapped by lightning. I chose this one on recommendation of the salesman. It handles the higher speeds of my fiber optics provider, has two Ethernet ports which is useful because my Orbi system takes up one, that leaves the other free if I need to plug in the computer. I feels sturdy. It was easy to set up. And, of course, I bought the protection plan just in case my surge protector fails again.

This is great if you want fast internet. I bought this beucase I don’t want to rent from my internet provider. It’s easy to set up and works.

Switched to Xfinity/Comcast cable internet. Made sense to buy my own modem rather than pay equipment rental fee every month. This modem is the most economical option. No problems setting it up and has been working so far.

I have a modem, but when I saw this one I purchased it because it was faster than the one that I had. It is easy to setup and it works fine.

Setup was easy. Connected it to my router, had Cox setup on the back, works fast and reliably since Great to get away from old provider.

I was told I needed a new modem by Spectrum last year because the one I had was outdated after 10 years (I did not know this!). The CSR at Best Buy recommended this to me based on the information I gave him and my internet is up and running again thanks to this modem. Easy set up and Spectrum was able to get it all going. My computer hasn't crapped out on me at all since I got this and the new router.

This modem works very well and has increased the Internet speeds. Easy setup. No compatibility issues with Comcast. Would definitely recommend.

We received an EOL letter from our internet provider. This made us have the need to purchase a new modem. Perfectly good gigabit modem at the house that the provider said they would no longer support and will reduce speeds... So... we needed to purchase something new. Our choices were a bunch of modems introduced in the previous 3-5 years or this. This cost more simply because it was newer and "recommended" by the internet provider. The unit itself does what it is meant to do. It provides high speed internet. Very easy setup... expect your internet provider to need to register it on their end. Any issues with this or most other modems are from the internet provider not the unit. My advice is to buy the one they recommend which has been out less than 2 years.

When my last SURFboard modem finally gave up the ghost after 10 faithful years, there was no question on its replacement. The setup required assistance from Comcast to get it up and running despite the easy instructions outlined in the manufacture's instructions. However, you can't beat the performance and reliability compared to other modems in this price range.

Chose this model after searching on-line reviews and talking to in store personnel. Easy setup, consistent speeds, reliable performance.

Very easy to install. Was not overpriced and is compatible with my cable service company's requirements.

I upgraded from and older surfboard modem. I wanted something that I could trust because my last modem worked like a charm. I bought this because my ISP is now at 400 Mbps and I wanted a modem that could meet my needs. It was a simple install and a quick call to the cable company to get it connected. It has the same layout as the last modem so I could hang it on the wall again for a neat and tidy install. My download speed were great. The lights are easy to understand. Perfect for my needs.

I had an old Netgear modem/router and was only getting abut 75 Mbps. I decided it might be time to upgrade and bought this for all the channel bonding (32x8) and upstream data speed (240Mbps) and my boyfriend is in love! Lol. I only use the interwebs for Netflix and whatnot, but he has enjoyed playing video games with chat/teams. I don't have any trouble with pages loading slowly while he's online, even if there are several devices connected.
