I recently upgraded my Comcast speed from 25 mpbs to 150mpbs, that's why I need to buy a new modem. It's compatible with the speed, just once a while the signal drops, and I need to reconnect it to the router, but I don't know whether the problem with Comcast of the modem. Comcast couldn't give me a solution.

I knocked a chunk off my Time Warner bill by returning their rental modem and also prepared for faster internet speeds coming in the near future. This modem does not offer telephone services, but I don't use a landline anymore.

This modem provides upload and download speeds that well exceed the my cable company's maximum speeds. It was simple to install. I just had to contact my ISP with the new MAC address for this modem.

Ended up being exactly what I was looking for and it performs the way it should. Just hook it up and have your internet company activate it! Worked for my Spectrum service

Small and compact is able to reach high speeds. Set up did take a whil since it wants you to do it through the app, which works half the time

I bought this modem as a replacement for my old modem. It does not run any faster, but I only have basic internet service. I was told it will handle every service Cox offers in my area, so should be upgrade proof for a few years.

Upgraded to this model after using both the 6141 and 6183 models previously. Never had any issues with them and so far this has been solid on Suddenlink Gigabit service.

Modem replaced a router/modem. Fantastic speeds even when using multiple computers. Worth the money, saves on renting. Control your internet destiny. Use the force of the Arris.

So far the best I use for a router and connect to my Mesh. I like it withe speed it give out and it even ready for fiber use if it ready in my area soon.

Great cable modem and best for using spectrums or others

This is a replacement for my previous modem which wasn't compatible with Comcast. It was very easy to install. All it took is a call to Comcast to have them activate it and I was up and running.

Exactly what I expected from a modem. Have it paired with a netgear router. Have had it for a couple years and it continues to work great. Price was worth it.

I replaced a Netgear CM400 which kept requiring a restart. Every time that happened, several of my smart devices would stop working until I restarted the unit -- not very cool when you're out of town. I've been using this unit for several weeks at the recommendation of a Best Buy person and it's been very good so far.
