With both of us working from home, we needed a modem (we were previously renting). This was one of the cheapest options, and it has been absolutely perfect.

This modem works great. It is fast and reliable. I have not had any problems with it since I’ve had it.

Better than comcast's gateway when paired with Google Wifi. Super easy to set up. I also really love calling comcast to reduce my bill...that it also improved my internet is a sweet deal.

I had a professional install during COVID, which means I had a cable guy out front connecting the internet to my new house (new build). When he finished up connecting the lines to the box in the wall, he gave me instructions on getting this bad boy going. I gave him the box to activate the serial number in their system- it was plug and okay from there. The trouble came from setting up an orbi that sat in storage for a few months. No biggie in the end. This modem works great. I really don't think you need more than this in spite of "better, more expensive" models existing

Bought this to replace an 8 year old Motorola Surfboard SB6141. This one is noticeably faster than the old one. Web pages snap open and videos stream smoothly with no buffering. This one has many more channels compared to the old one, so it's future proof. The only downfall which is Comcast's fault is you have to download the Xfinity App on your phone to activate. Which was easy but it took a long time to download over my slow Boost Mobile internet. They should go back to activating on the internet browser.

A must have modem if you have xfinity and don't want to pay rental fees. It pays for itself with the benefit of owning the device. Supports up to 1gb speed couldn't ask for more

Very good modem for the money ... easy to hook up and works great with my router and satellites... very impressed ... worth the money and comes with a warranty... very pleased

I decided to go with a very good DOCSIS 3.0 modem rather than 3.1 which is not available in my area yet. This was easy to set up and has performed flawlessly in the couple of months it has been in service.

Easy to setup at home. Had to register with internet provider. Replaced old outdated hardware with the Arris SURFboard and was amazed at the speed increase.

The ARRIS cable modem looks nice. Set up was easy, just plug it in and connect the RG6 cable to the wall and Ethernet cable to the router. It registers itself. My speed increased over the old Zoom modem.

Perfect modem for Xfinity. You plug it in and it works! Which is a fantastic feeling after dealing with some other netgear modems.

Modem appears to be rock solid. Setup amounted to plugging it in and a 5 minute call to Time Warner to provide them the MAC address. Now getting 240 Mbps on nominal 200 Mbps service. Lightening fast downloads.

I had this modem before for a few years, but I dropped it twice and the heat sink came lose. I probably could have fixed it, but decided to buy another cable modem. After looking, I went with the same modem as it does what it says and I need, I am pleased with it and the price was good.

I purchased the Arris 6190 because I upgraded from 70 MB to 200 MB connection and wanted a modem that could handle that speed and more. It does what I need it to do for a reasonable price.

I thought I was gonna need a wall mount for a real surfboard, but was pleased to see it was no bigger than a gamecube, and about as thick as sandwich. Not a subway sandwich, but just like, a normal sandwich you would make at home, you know, with ham, cheese, mustard, 2 slices of bread, maybe some salt and pepper for a little razzle-dazzle.

Easy to install and zero issues giving. Bought it over 6 months ago. For under $80, internet providers give you a $10 dollar fee for equipment. It will eventually pay for itself in a few months.
