Internet had been running slow, and after all other troubleshooting, I decided the only thing left was my outdated modem. Best Buy offers a trade in offer when you trade in your old modem towards a new one. The employees didn't know about it, but once they figured it out, everything went smooth. Internet is much faster without any issue since upgrading.

We were changing to WOW internet which necessitated needing to get at least a DOCSIS 3.0 modem. All the internet service providers (Spectrum, WOW, etc etc) offer a monthly rental. But we went to Best Buy and found the price for purchasing a modem makes more sense than renting one. After comparing the various brands and models, plus considering whether to get a 3.0 or 3.1, we felt this ARRIS Surfboard 32x8 DOCSIS 3.0 made the most sense. It was easy to set up and has functioned perfectly.

Cable modem worked as reccomended. Easy setup. Able to surf and stream videos without delay.

I got updated speed at my house, and my old router wasn't fast enough, so I upgraded to this router and now my internet is blazing fast. Easy to set up, seamless use.

We got rid of our Motorola combo modem router and put in the Linksys 3 node mesh system along with this modem. So far all seems to work well with the modem although it was challenging talking to Comcast to get them to connect it. ( yes you will have to call them) We found that the Xfinity apps would not let you connect even though they had a feature to allow just that! We notice better performance now and will soon be upgrading our Comcast speed and data rate. Note you will need an unmanaged switch if you have multiple Ethernet connections on your existing combo unit.

Great modem for the price. 1000 times better than leasing one from Comcast. pays for itself after a year. will by this router again if ever needed

Easy setup. You can log into your xfinity.com account and change the device fairly easily. It works for my situation.

Bought the new modem after having connection issues with Internet. Ended up not needing it but kept it because it' is faster than the old one. Easy set up and no problems.

We were having problems with our wifi. Our internet had outpaced our modem. This was a great upgrade for a reasonable price.

Pros: - Gigabit compatible for those that either want Gigabit internet now or in the future (1.4 Gbps) - 32 bonded channels for downstream, 8 upload channels - Similar design and interface as other Arris modems. - On Comcast's list of "compatible" devices. - IPv6 enabled by default (although you'll need to also enable it in the router) Cons: Bright lights. As far as I know, there's no way to dim these.

This Modem was quick and easy to install on my Comcast internet service. It is working as expected.

This modem added speed to my setup. Now my home network is flawless. Downloading, gaming, and streaming is flawless. No lag at all.

Good solid fast cable modem at a great price. This was an upgrade to a previous older Motorola cable modem that was working fine. Just needed more speed and bandwith.
