Super fast and reliable cable modem. Happy to have changed out the Comcast provided modem for this one. Great investment.

Most of the time it works great. Replaced a cable provider unit that needed to be upgraded. But once in a while it drives me crazy. Purchased and installed a smart TV last night (via WiFi on the router). Today this unit stopped working (I am hard wired to the back of the modem with a desktop PC). I tried a couple of things, then unplugged and forced a hard reboot of both router and modem. Still nothing. Finally this modem decided to do another reboot without my help (lights off, came back in the proper order) and it finally came back and started working. The modem and the router are working together. Maybe the router is to blame, but I don't think so.

Very simple to setup. Had to call Suddenlink and 5 minutes later I was up. I get every bit of the speed I pay for.

I have had this modem since July 2017 and not a single issue or disconnection from the internet yet. Speeds are great.

I cut the cord! I opted to turn in my cable boxes and purchased rokus for our television viewing (PSVue) Household includes 2 Rokus, 3 IPads, 2 laptops, 4 iPhones, 2 gaming computers, and multiple accessories ( printers and etc. ). I replaced my Xfinity wireless modem/router and opted for the Surfboard and an ASUS router. Download speeds are now 250 Mbps (was 120 Mbps ) and upload at 20 Mbps. No crashing, pausing and full coverage in a 2800 sq ft home. Great recommendation Best Buy!

The Arris surfboard was suggested by a member of the sales staff. Very happy with the unit. Seems especially easy to set-up as I am not very computer oriented. Much better than the unit it replaced.

The Modem exceeded my expectations given that I previously purchased the more expensive Nighthawk modem and needed to return it. The problem with the nighthawk was that it did not activate with Comcast even though it says that it is comcast approved right on the box. Comcast could not get it to work. So back to the Arris. Setup and activation seamlessly uneventful.

Using this modem with Comcast internet. Getting great speeds and easy to setup and use.

I got an email from Comcast Xfinity to inform me that my Motorola SB6121 is outdated. I bought this MODEM Arris Surf Board SB6190 as a replacement. This one boost my download speed from around 105 MBPS to over 160 MBPS. I have owned it for about a month now and so far so good. I hope it will last for years. My older Motorola SB6121 was still working very well and I had owned it for more than 5 years.

Works great! I have no complaints. It was pretty easy to set up.

Seems to be fast ... running many devices at 180mbps download speed with no issue. Set up was easy

This modem has been trouble free and fast. I expect it is best in the Arris line up for most people. I keep mine in a media closet upstairs and it seems to handle the heat with no problem. I read a lot about chip set issues on this, but it’s never failed by family of four active streamers/gamers! Consistently provides more speed than my plan advertises.

Modem was easy to hook up and set up. It has been working flawlessly and keeps up with my high speed internet.

this replaced a Motorola SB6121, which was working fine. I wanted to replace it to gain more channels and faster upload/download speeds. I immediately saw around 25% increase in hardwired speeds with wireless speeds increasing around 15%. All through Netgear F5D8233-4 N router. I wound up replacing the router with Orbi AC (see my review of this under MSK1) and the wired and wireless speeds are now amazing!! So if you get this modem - do yourself a favor and update your router immediately to an AC..

Extremely easy to setup. Brought my 60 mbps to 220mbps for download. Upload is now at 26mbps. Worth the money in my opinion.

Nice and compact. Paying for 75mbps with xfinity, did a speed test several times with results of 88-92mbps each time

With my netgear n600 combo modem router I was having issues with speed and dropping the signal. So I wanted something I wouldn't have to upgrade in the near future. Docsis 3.0 is good enough, docsis 3.1 is better but comcast doesnt even come close to the speeds of docsis 3.0 , so there is no need to upgrade to 3.1 when 3.1 speeds aren't available yet. But as far as the product, it's amazing, i haven't dropped signal with about 6 devices pulling from it and it runs flawlessly

I was looking to cut my internet bill down with my provider of Xfinity. Renting a modem from them was $15 a month for what I considered to be subpar equipment. Once I installed this and my new mesh network for wireless, I saw a huge performance gain with internet speeds. I would recommend that everybody purchases their own modem and stop giving extra money to your internet providers
