This modem is great and reliable and that's what you want out of a modem My wife, daughter and I all work from home and this modem works great, easy to setup and reboot if there's an issue with your ISP.

Had this for 13 months before it failed. Only giving two stars instead of one because setup was easy and it was solid before it started failing. A couple moths ago, started having problems with intermittent disconnects, troubleshooting indicated the modem as it was failing for all devices in the house whether going through the wireless router or hard wired. Then it started boot looping about every 15 minutes. What is terrible about this product is the technical support. The tech treated me like a noob, ignoring the troubleshooting I had already performed and making me repeat EXACT SAME STEPS. Unnecessarily long (I think he was handling too many calls at once - long lag between steps), and after two hours, I gave up because having it replaced was not worth my time. Never buying Arris again.

This works great, much better than the junk equipment that cable companies charge ridiculous rent for.

This unit replaced an older basic 7 year old ARRIS Surfboard modem that finally stopped working. This one is an upgrade. Installation was easy and it has been working flawlessly. The old one must have been slowly dying because my internet is running more smoothly and seems faster.

Was previously having some intermittent issues with my old modem which was several years old and while it was technically still supported by my ISP, it was supported at a lower speed than I have had for a bit so I figured it was time to upgrade. This new unit helped even out the spikes and now we can stream on multiple TVs at once, and more importantly with two full time individuals WFH we can both be in video conferences at the same time without lag or dropout issues. Didn't even have to upgrade our wifi as our mesh network was already robust enough.

Good packaging and easy to hook up. All i had to do was activate it and it runs as advertised.

My Arris was extremely easy to install. Steps are straight forward. Extremely fast. It handles all the requirements of COMCAST, my service provider. Most important of all, Arris is extremely reliable. I simply had no issues since I installed several months ago.

I bought this to replace a Spectrum modem that kept dropping internet service for 1-2 minutes throughout the day. This modem works flawlessly and my speed (I have the 400 Mbit tier) is faster, especially the upload speed. I definitely recommend this modem!

I don’t have the fastest Internet service (200) but I figured I’d future proof with Docsis 3.1. I get about 230 at peak speed. Set up was easy. Got it on sale. Beats renting from the cable company.

Works well for what it is. Good speed, stable, easy to install and use.

I bought this to replace my old Arris modem to qualify for Suddenlink's 1GB speed internet service. We took the following steps: #1. Upgraded the internet speed service with Suddenlink (online upgrade option) #2. Plug in new modem next to the old one but do not yet connect the cable and ethernet cables to the new modem. #3. Call Suddenlink tech support and provide the new modem's MAC address. (the call took about 30 minutes, mostly navigating through menus and waiting). That was it! No problems since the upgrade. Our previous Arris Modem (SB6183) was awesome as well but that older one was not capable of handling the 1GB speed.

Upgraded to Xfinity 600 mbps service and needed updated docsis 3.1 modem. Unit works very well and exceeds speed my plan has. Highly recommend to future proof with a devise that will give you the extra speed you may need Down the road.

Way better than expected. Great quality and w/a mesh system, great speed.

Effortless install and consistent performance. Happy enough that I bought a second one for my son as a house warming present.

Easy to set up and works great. Have had for a little while with no problems.

My Internet is free! Well not FREE in coat but it is free from tyranny of ISP owned hardware. All the ports I can change, block and open. Also the old equipment my ISP were charging me for gave me half the speed I was paying for as I came to find out. Plug it in then call your ISP to setup your router. So easy. Paired with a powerful WiFi router the house is covered and speedy.

Fast, easy setup. The hardest part was getting my cable company to update their system. Great purchase!

I purchased this modem 8 months ago and it has been working well, I am obtaining 486mps download out of the 500 that I pay for and 53.11 upload speeds. No issues with the modem.
