This album is a departure from previous Grimes albums but once you digest it, it is food for the soul that you will develop a ravenous appetite for. Grimes truly is an "Art Angel" inside and out! I also attended a concert in Chicago while she toured for this album and her beautiful soul and amazing talent shines through like no one else! I highly recommend this album to everyone with taste. I have it on heavy rotation.

Grimes really hits her stride with this album, a major leap forward from 2012's Visions. The melodies are razor-sharp and the arrangements and instrumentation are wildly inventive. Even when the guest pairings fail (as with Aristophanes on "Scream"), they fail in a daring and memorable fashion. Key songs: Flesh Without Blood, Kill v. Maim, Pin, and Venus Fly.

I love this album is you like different types of sounds and electronic and rock you will love this album. Grimes hits you from the beginning of the album and doesn't let go. There are a lot of switch ups on this album but they are all great. Pick it up if you see it. You won't be disappointed.

This album is dream pop bliss. Grimes most mainstream album yet but that's not a bad thing. There are still unique and experimental tones and beats but it's more honed and fine tuned. Don't miss out on this one.

I found this album on a best of list for 2015 and wanted to check it out. Turns out a friend had made a mixtape with one of the songs on it so I was sort of familiar. Have to love a powerful female vocalist!

I'm a huge fan of electronic music. While she has been a little more obscure in the past, I think the energy and enthusiasm here is awesome! Well done Grimes!

Grimes is pop, electronic, funk and folk all thrown in one creative washing machine. She's so full of ideas you can feel them in every track. Stellar record!

Grimes has been all over the spectrum in terms of her music but she seems to have dialed into a great sound with just the right amount of pop.

This was purchased for my son who loves this CD. He is a teenager, so I have no idea if I like it or not. It's not my genre of music.

Grimes' music isn't for everyone. She can't be pigeonholed into a specific type of music. That said, the music she makes works. It's a breath of fresh air when so much played on the radio is very cookie-cutter.

I was not very familiar with Grimes and the music from her first album, but after seeing the video for Flesh Without Blood and liking the song I decided to take a chance on the full CD. It was a terrific surprise- full of fun arty and poppy songs. Give it a listen and take a chance.

Fun album with great dance beats. An underrated pop album that gets better every time you listen to it.
