I have played all of the AC games. This is easily one of my favorite, if not, my favorite AC game in recent times. I highly recommend playing it in Japanese as it adds to the immersion and realness. The combat and stealth are extremely fun. For once, the story is relatively compelling. My only gripe is the varying graphical fidelity depending on the scene and environmental conditions you find yourself in the game. However, the game is really great. It still maintains the AC formula (to a fault in some senses), but it has also evolved into a new style of game in terms of combat, story, mechanics, and customization. It is definitely a refinement of the series and the closest you can get to Ghost of Tsushima (not quite there though). I'm having the most fun with this game that I've had with an AC game in a while.

The game itself is so amazing the visuals to the combat, The combat tk the game is on par with Elden ring one of the best assassin creed games ever. Im definitely a satisfied customer with my purchase worth every buck.

Game has a terribly dry story. Voice acting is completely garbage. Combat is ok. Graphics look good but any new game will at this point. Idc about all the nonsense going on. This is not a great game for how much money was put into it. Wait for this to go on sale. Do not pay full price for garbage thrown out. Play Ghost of Tsushima instead. Way better in every way.

Brought as a graduation gift for my nephew. Gave him the gift at 1pm and he's been glued to his game 4 hours later. He's enjoying his gift.

As soon as you login youre greeted with a cash shop that offers an array of microtransactions to make the games grind more pleasant including maps and xp boosters. Totally unacceptable in single player games. The XP gains should be a free slider and the map a reward for completing the game. Also the characters are trope mary sue types with no flaws and no complexity. writing is bad and low quality and politically correct. dont waste time or money on this company as they clearly havent learned.

Said order will be ready for pickup but it got delayed instead. So I ordered from Target and got it the same day. The game is good tho.
