A lot of people were disappointed with the previous Assassins Creed Unity. I thought it was OK but far too many trinkets to collect cluttering up the map. You never felt like you were making progress. That is not the case with Syndicate ! Reasonable amount of collectibles. Great missions. Beautiful graphics and insight into London during this time period. With horse and buggies and properly dressed citizens going about daily life. Alexander Graham Bell and Charles Darwin are just a few of the characters you will meet and interact with. As far as weapons, aside from the usual weapons like the hidden blade, vintage guns etc....there is also a grappling hook which makes it easy to climb up a building in a hurry to make an escape or go from rooftop to rooftop saving you from getting through the sometimes crowded streets. As typical, stealth is required for the missions and some require a lot more stealth than others. Be patient. Some missions will last seconds if you go in guns blazing due to the amount of "Blighters" patrolling the area ! All in all, one of the best Assassins Creed games I have played in a while and I have played them all !

More good game play in the same vein as previous Assasins Creed ventures. I appreciate when a developer doesnt try to change to the latest style craze just for the sake of keeping up with the Jones's. If it aint broke, dont fix it.
Good intuitive game pkay and story line, especially for those who have played previous versions.

I've played all the AC games, & this is by far the best of the group.
This one is much more realistic & offers more for the player to get involved with....the only thing that took a little getting used to was the change in the controls....this one isn't quite the same as the previous iterations.

This newest version of Assassin's Creed is a step forward after a couple missteps in the AC series. The story is much better than last year's game and the two playable characters actually have personality and are fun to play. The city of London looks great and the grappling hook is surprising smooth and fun.

Great game, a bit over the top in gratuitous violence and the addition of the wierdly otherworldly "goddess" figure popping up at the end of different game sequences to express a bizarre supernatural element is pointless and detracts from play. But ignore this and the real game is great.

Although it didn't take risk like Black Flag, Syndicate is a good addition to the lineup. I didn't play Unity, and I guess I'm lucky, but I'm told Syndicate was better in every way. I enjoyed the story, and the dual play with the brother and sister assassins.

The gameplay in this AC is better than previous ones. You can play, as either Jacob or his sister Evie and in some missions must play as one or the other. When you don't have to play as one or the other, you can interchange them whenever you'd like. Both of them have their own "specialty skills" as you level them up.
I personally loved AC2 and Black Flag. This storyline seems kind of lame to me; England in the industrial era, with gangs running individual areas, children working labor factories and horse and carriage races/escapes. Of course, taking out Templars and finding hidden items are still paramount.
The games graphics are up to par for the time it was released. To me, everything looks kind of the same though; factories, slums, business districts with key landmarks thrown in: i.e.-Ben Ben and the Tower of London etc. etc.
Overall, it's been an alright game to play while I'm waiting for other games to be released.

This is a really good game if you love the Assassin's Creed franchise. They added some new gameplay elements with the grapple device, and the story is pretty compelling. Going around London is cool and all, and the atmosphere was done well. Destroys Unity. Best since ACIV.

The game is well made. You play the roles of brother and sister assassins and you try take over the gangs in London, England in 1868. Very good graphics and you get to go to a lot of historic sites and meet historic characters. Very fun to play. I recommend the game.

Looks great and plays great. Probably the most fun Assassins Creed game as far as gameplay goes in the series. It doesn't push the main storyline much, but the story that you play is good. Lots of humor in this entry which was a nice change of pace.

I haven't been the biggest fan of Assassin's Creed since I beat the original. Even the ones people loved, I passed on. This one however is a lot of fun to play. While I'm not the biggest Assassin's Creed fan, I really enjoyed this game.

Despite loving the AC Black Flag game i'd started to wonder if the AC Franchise was for me after Unity. This game confirmed my love of this series and reminded me of Black Flag albeit without the pirate theme. Highly recommend this game.

I have been a huge fan of the series ever since it came out. Obviously there has been some let downs with the past couple of games but I'm glad to say this game has renewed my faith in the series. There are still some bugs to work out but you can tell they put more effort into the story line over multiplayer which in my opinion is great. The world is bigger and more beautiful then ever. You get to play with twin assassins throughout the game and they have added more unique features for the game and each character. Overall very good game!

Great comeback after my disappointment with Unity. Brought back the features I loved from other AC games that were removed from the last game. Lots of fun. Nice new features that work really well. Great story, too. Totally enjoying it!

Some were upset with what Unity turned out to be but they've managed to get this series going again with this one. You play in Victorian London, which is the best and on top of that you're an assassin. It doesn't get better than that.

Got the game really cheap (go GamerClub Unlocked). As with all Assassin's Creed titles, the gameplay is fun and immersive, great story and lots of little side adventures. Definitely worth picking up as it keeps going on sale.

The game is ok, nothing mind blowing if you've played any AC game. For the black Friday price it's a great game for the price. Graphics are very nice, good missions, controls seem a bit twitchy but still a very good game.

Another solid installment from the Assassin's Creed franchise. This one is less buggy than its predecessor, Unity, and does a great job of depicting London around the time of the industrial revolution. Great game

This entry takes the series back to what made it good. With great storyline and not to overloaded with multi-player features like unity was. The setting in industrial revolution London is fun and engaging
