There is a cartridge version that has AC:BF on the cartridge and AC:R as a download if you would prefer that. Games themselves run great for the Switch, both are awesome.

Nintendo switch game

You have to wait until delivery and in this case it was 2 weeks. Then the package arrives with the code in it. Didn't understand why they didn't just give me the code at checkout?!? Either way we got it and my son loves the game. So it all good
