The leveling system is back as is base building. The Templar chain of command requires you to start on the edges and work towards the core.

They aren't reinventing the wheel. If you like previous entries and feel like doing another one of those, this will meet your expectations.

Not nearly as good as odyssey

The entire story is you going to different locations and talking to people….for like 50 hours. AC odyssey was at least fun. The viking storyline is extremely cool, but this game didn’t live up to the hype whatsoever. Add in the fact that you have to beat the game in order to find the really cool gear like thors hammer, which is extremely pointless seeing as you’ve now finished the game.

The selection of games instore was horrible so i settled for this. Its ok but thiers so many better games for the PS5, i should have waited.

Large empty world

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Game runs very well on PS5 and Series X, only issue is that Ubisoft stated they would cut back on useless missions from Odyssey and filler areas such as camps, yet they are present throughout this game. It seems they are still trying to push larger worlds instead of better games, which is a shame because not everyone can invest the amount of time it takes to clear the multiple different maps in this game and this is coming from someone who fully cleared Odyssey and Origins. Just can’t seem to do it again with this game.
