Fun game. Great map. Graphics amazing. Would recommend.

This game is very easy to get lost in. Graphics are incredible and some of the best ever on console. If you use the same weapon styles the game can start to feel repetitive. However, switching weapon types makes it feel like a new experience. Side missions make the game stay fresh, and are arguably more fun than the main story.

Started slow, but became engaging the more played. Really picks up when you hit “England” continent (about 10 hours in). Nice graphics. Slow load times on XB1X. I upgraded to a new series X about mid-way through the game and dramatically helped load times and made this more playable. With XB1X, it almost made me not want to play.

I got this game for my husband because he really wanted it for the new xbox. Well we got it today and he loves it. It was a fast download. The picture is amazing it looks to real its not funny. We got into the show vikings and so far the game has no disappointed and is very similar to the things in the show. Great for any viking fan

As someone who's Norse, this game is amazing! *TO BE NOTED* Should you're xbox error outv and not be able to download the extra updates you MUST "remote install" the game from the Xbox App. So long as you have the free space, it will successfully download the extra required updates.

Runs smoothly on XSX, looks really good in HDR once you get the settings (TV, console, and game) lined up just right. Lots of exploring, side missions etc if you want can play for hundreds of hours collecting stuff. Maybe a bit too much if I'm honest, I've barely made a dent 2 weeks in. Combat is ok, a little clunky compared to GOW. Enemy AI also so so. Love the setting, history, Roman ruins to explore, etc. Tons of hours of fun to be had.

Started off great. I loved the serious tone and a more “realistic” approach to the world along with less fantastical combat. After soaking hours and hours into this one it slowly overstayed it’s welcome. For about 75% of the game I restricted myself to only traveling on horseback, no fast travel. You know soak in the environment, be one with nature haha but after a while it just became too tedious. Go to alliance map, ride to quest marker, go back to camp. You do this the entire length of the game and it just lost its luster with me. The part towards the end “snowy mountain cave” things got so ridiculous that I was constantly rolling my eyes. Oh, not only that I had to look up whether or not the last quest I finished was in fact the end of the game. When someone has to look up whether you’ve beat the game isn’t a good way to end your game. No credits or nothing, the game just doesn’t have any form of finality to it therefore it makes you feel like why the heck did I even bother playing this.

Amazing game, fun to play, and amazing graphics!!!

Hubby LOVES it! He played the Odyssey one and loved so much that I got him this one for Christmas and he is super happy with it. I’m sure it will keep both him and my son occupied for quite a while. I got it on a sale plus was able to use my Best Buy rewards on it making it an excellent price that I couldn’t pass up.

This was a purchase for Christmas so I can not objectively provide a review. I do not play the games and thus I really have no knowledge other than past games I've seen that we've given as presents. This post was done to get the reward points for the Best Buy reward points.
