Great game play and decent graphics. Sometimes the frame rate isn't the best. Great story!

This is one if my top five favorite switch games. A great action game witha good story. It starts off slow but picks up speed and doesn't slow down. You get up to 5 legions that you use for attacks, each with a different style and unique abilities. You are a new recruit in the police and must protect the last city of humanty frim from apperations called caimeras (creatures from another dimension).

Amazing game! Looking forward to hopefully a sequel someday. My only issue is the pacing is a bit weird — you go between fast paced, super-engaging battles and long stretches of walking/investigations. Worth for the battle system though

I didn’t know what to expect when I got Astral Chain. I’m not super big into anime or anything like that but I heard it was good and it got really great reviews. Once I dove in I realized this is something else. It’s really fun. The lore is deep and the action is fun. This game will fly under radar for most people. If you’re reading this you’ve stumbled on a hidden gem of the Nintendo switch. Buy it.

JRPG at it's finest from a great company like Platinum Games. Good story, fun combat.

First off, I lover Platinum games as I believe they are one of, if not THE best action game developers. This game is fantastic and I love the quirky anime style that allows for some utterly mesmerizing combat. The mechanics of controlling two characters at once may be a little confusing at first, but when things click, you'll be pulling off amazing moves and stringing together awesome combos.

at first I was honestly skeptical about how well this game would play out especially being an original game for the Nintendo switch. After purchasing this and realizing that this game is further away from simplistic than you could imagine, I've definitely decided to up my rating on this. Definitely pick this video game up if you like great fighting mechanics and a decent story behind it as well.

While you might venture into Astral Chain expecting fun Platinum combat, you might end up even more taken with some of the NPC’s, like the awkward girl who hides behind a box next to the supply office, or, of course, the awkward girl in a dog costume, who gets an unnatural amount of airtime. It’s a quirky, lovable, and unfortunately underrated game.

Absolutely brilliant game. The action and gameplay is just great. Combat is deep and there are plenty of ways to take on enemies. I was surprised that there are side ops to do and a bit of a free-roam aspect to it on missions. Difficulty is very challenging, so there is a difficulty option for you if you are used to more challenging games like Bayonetta or Nier. Good job Nintendo and Platinum!

Superlative action game. Mission are broken into investigation sections which are essentially light puzzle solving and storytelling, followed by action levels and great boss fights. The game is slower than Bayonetta, but the action is thrilling and the combat system involving control of two characters is very unique. One of the very best on the system!

Astral Chain challenges players with an unorthodox combat system rooted in Platinum's signature high-impact style. There is a learning curve, but the game introduces each concept with enough breathing room. There's multiple difficulty levels to accommodate every kind of player. I recommend playing in TV mode as the city environments are worth every pixel you'll get out of the 1080p resolution.

This is a great game. Has a nice mix of story, combat, and mystery.

I'm pretty biased as I'm a fan of many of Platinum's entries, and this one is no different. A very fun action game with flashy moves and smooth gameplay. The story leaves a bit to be desired, but most games in this genre are just enough story to get you through all the quality gameplay elements. If you're a fan of titles like Bayonetta, Vanquish, Wonderful 101, etc, this is worth a pick up

If you like JRPG action games then this a good pick. A very stunning game, visually, with unique mechanics that offer up intense battle sequences. Lots of character customization and a cool cyberpunk word to explore and interact with. Not a lot of games like this on the Switch and high recommend for anyone interested.

We bought this game as a birthday present for our teenage daughter after hearing how excited she was after seeing videos online. It looks great and brings a whole new level of gameplay I haven't seen before. You actually control 2 characters at a time - linked together with an "astral chain". Anyway, you have to check it out to get a good feel for it, but highly recommended!

This game is amazingly. The graphics are epic and story is great. Get it!!!
