I think it expands on games like Beyonetta and Arkham games. There is a lot of exploration and detective work. I really enjoyed the combat. The game is close to 20 hours.

With interesting combat and a plethora of challenges to accomplish, this may be their most accessible game since Nier, with the complexity of Wonderful 101 or Bayonetta.

Starts off a little wierd from a control perspective, but they ease you into what the game is all about. This is a must have fmif you enjoyed previous Platinum titles.

Great action game. Controls were a bit difficult for me because I'm starting to lose dexterity. Having to control the legion and your character to perform combos was difficult for me. The game's scoring and rating system is very generous compared to Bayonetta. Looks really great for a Switch game.

The graphics and gameplay alone are fantastic the game is rich in suspense you will not be disappointed with this title you have to pick it up today and play

Awesome action game!!! Platinum's action adventure games are, in my opinion, the best for the genre. If you like Bayonetta and DMC, then you cannot miss this game.

This game brought me back to gaming. The character, level, and control design is all top notch. I can honestly say this has enough Easter eggs to keep me playing for the next few months at least. I love the casual game style of the side missions and the action packed boss fights. This franchise has so much potential if they expand it out to multiple sequels or a means to get more “cases” added periodically. Don’t think about it, just do yourself a favor and purchase this game.

This is a nice new game for the switch. Loaded with action and the detective style areas are nice also. Honestly look into this game and pick it up, it's worth it

If you like Bayonetta, or any of the Platinum games, then this is a must have! Already half way through the game and it’s just a thrill! So much fun and action!

If you like Nier: Automata and Bayonetta, you most definitely need this game. It combines the combat and themes of both and I honestly can’t get enough of it!

You can't go wrong with Astral Chain. Platinum games so far hasn't made one weak game. And these are some tight gameplay and graphics on Nintendo's console.

I really enjoyed this game. The story is a bit over the top but the gameplay was really fun. Would recommend to anyone who might enjoy an action game.

Platinum Games is killing it. Astral Chain is an awesome game. From the anime aesthetics to the gameplay. It all works well. Upgrading your Legion with different abilities and upgrades is easy. Even with your Legion, you can upgrade your character's own weapon, the X-baton. I've beaten it once already. Ready to go back & replay to upgrade everything I didn't the first time through. That's a testament to how good this game is. I rarely play through games a second time. I showed this off to a friend & he ended up picking up a Switch just to play the game. Another Platinum hit.

One of my favorite games ever played on the switch. Beautiful anime style artwork and engaging combat. It's a must have for the switch.
