There was a lot of hype building up to the Astral Chain release. In my opinion, it lives up to it. Introduces an original gameplay mechanic during the action sequences that thoroughly impressed me. Great story line, There are times where the battles can get a bit repetitive, but the side missions and character interactions in between them are extremely refreshing. Has the makings of a long running series. I recommend.

If you like anime you will love this game the graphics are really good and the story is really good is far away from the game that I was expecting you will love it.

Year again another Switch Exclusive and must own title. Set on with this one with an open mind and play style unique in itself. I don't want to run the story but it's worth the price of admission. Highly recommended! 9.5/10

Very nice game overall. The combat is fun and the graphics are pretty good. The story was pretty good as well, although it was a bit predictable at some point. Still, would recommend this game.

I love this game so much! The combat, the characters, the world, and the music is all so good. Maybe Platinum Games' best game yet, if you love games like Devil May Cry, you will absolutely love this!

Only scratching the surface here with about 7 hours logged, but this game is a must for any fans of Bayonetta or Nier: Automata. Lots of action. A pretty decent storytelling effort. And it looks incredible for a Switch game.

I didn’t have high hopes for this game but I actually had a great time with it. I finished the story a while back but there’s still more to do. I definitely recommend it for those who likes action adventure games.

I've never played any of the other games made by this developer, but this game makes me wanna try them all. Very fun combat, and is full of small little side missions that mix things up. Also a cool art style and setting.

If you're a fan of Platinum games, you already know you're in for a good time. For those that don't know the company, it's great frenetic action sequences with a fun story. Worth a pick up for any Switch owner.

Great game - lots of challenge and an interesting setting. The story-line flows well and you never feel like you're running out of things to do. The combat is similarly challenging.

This has everything a platinum games game should have, story and action, the game is fantastic and has a great combat system, I highly recommend this game if you love action games and anime type games.

I was not expecting this game to be as good as it is. Completely blown away by everything. The graphics, the music, the gameplay. Everything. This is a must buy if you like RPGs and own a Switch.

This game is better than I expected, but it's not without its flaws. Great story, graphic style, music, battle mechanics, and characters. Sometimes, the missions can get a little redundant or stale. The Astral plane is a neat concept and fun to explore, but it all looks the same. I'm not a fan of being graded at the end of each mission either. A Platinum Games staple.

As a big fan of Platinum Games, I was super excited for this game to come out. And I wasn’t disappointed. Great action game with great visuals for a Switch game make it one of my favorite of 2019

Great game with an awesome and unique title, definitely a must-play for any of the Switch owners out there looking for an Rpg-like challenge. Music is cool, visuals too, ultra satisfying combat.

Platinum Games has come to be known for great, over-the-top, action games and Astral Chain is no exception. It packs a lot of fun into a package that makes it approachable to a wide variety of people.

This game is full of action just like Platinum Games other title, Bayonetta. It is a Switch exclusive and a ton of fun. I paid $50 on sale for this title but highly recommend it at any price.

Was sleeping on this game for a while, but finally decided to bite when it went on sale and it has not disappointed. Really cool style, decent story, and fun gameplay. Definitely worth it.

I'm a big fan of Platinum Games and this game doesn't disappoint. The story is fun and the combat is easy to learn but surprisingly deep. It has some elements from Bayonetta and Metal Gear Rising.

This game is absolutely amazing! The graphics are stunning, the performance is solid, and the story is very well paced. Expect tons of explosions, giant monsters, and an incredibly engaging story!
