Very polished game. Action is intense and the combat is smooth. Be prepared for a challenge. Good story nothing mind blowing, but good.

Action is fluid and fast and I really like the art style. This is classic Platinum if you love the developer this is an easy pick up.

I LOVE this game! It has a lot of highly intensive fights that have a variety of combat strategies. The game has a steady frame rate whether the switch is docked or undocked.

Platinum doesn't disappoint with its games, and this one fits the trend. This is one of the most cinematic experiences I've had on Switch and is a thrill with a good TV setup featuring surround sound. The story is a little derivative, but presented well and with signature charm. And the gameplay is loaded with action while still having depth and asking the player to actually pay attention. I also dare say some puzzles reminded me a bit of Breath of the Wild with its shrines. Great game. Don't skip it.

Astral Chain by Platinum Games is a fantastic addition to the Switch library. It's also one of the best looking games on Switch. In Astral Chain, As part of a police special task force, it's up to you to fight mysterious creatures who have invaded the world. There are two playable characters in the game (Male or female) in addition to a weapon known as The Legion. The Legion acts as your partner, and helps with your investigations and combat against the creatures as you uncover the mystery.

Astral chain is an amazing action beat en up game from the makers of Bayonetta Platinum games! The game is a non stop thrill ride with amazing combat, a good story and takes advantage of the switch hardware! Awesome addition to any switch library!

Play for hours & still going the combat is awesome, the storyline is ok easy to pick up & play. Great Nintendo switch game.

If your a fan of high speed action games like bayonetta you’ll love astral chain. Great visuals even in handheld mode.

I would describe Astral Chain's combat as a hybrid of Bayonetta and Nier Automata, which are other PlatinumGames games. My only gripes with combat would be the dodging window is shorter than other PG's games and i-frames are non-existent when countering enemies after executing a perfect dodge. The graphics are extremely good for a Nintendo Switch game but the trade off there is the game runs at 30FPS. If you're into stylish action games, this is definitely up you ally.

The story Line is intriguing and lots of depth. The graphics are some of the best on switch. All and all a Great game!

Bayonetta 2 was a big reason why I bought a Nintendo Switch and I was glad when another Platinum game was announced for the platform. It takes some time to get used to controlling two characters at once in combat, but once you do it makes for a great action game. The detective aspects keep Astral Chain from being as action-packed as Bayonetta, but those sections are a fun way to break up the combat sections. Anyone with a Switch should pick this up.
