Platinum games has done it again. I love their exclusive Nintendo games and this is no exception. The game is so unique and has a great battle system, music and graphics.

interesting premise, some varied gameplay ideas, superb platinum games action. this is a very strong third party exclusive switch game. i had a blast playing through it.

The combat is fluid and fun to mess around with, there are multiple skill trees for all of your Legions as well as items equip them with, and the story is enough to keep the ball rolling.

Like all Platinum games expect great action, really good visuals and a funky story. Prefer playing in the dock so I can read all of the subtitles and enjoy the visuals a bit more.

Astral Chain casts you as the elder sibling of a set of twins raised by a cop in a post apocalyptic setting. The titular Astral chain binds you to one of the creatures that caused the apocalypse, giving you a chance to fight back. You spend time in the game as a police officer, investigating crimes and disturbances, protecting the last of humanity from alien horrors as well as themselves. The combat is fluid and interesting, and you soon find yourself controlling your character and your leashed monster worth ease, pulling off flashy combos as you explore the world. I haven't finished the game yet, but would definitely recommend it to any action rpg fan.

Great game with good controls and story. Sometimes the platforming portions were clunky but besides that, loved every moment of it.

This game is something else. It is one of the best games for Nintendo Switch that I’ve played so far! The story, the characters, the combat - everything is just incredible! And the graphics are also incredible. In my opinion this is the best looking game on Switch that you can get. If you’ve played Bayonetta, NieR: Automata, or any PG (Platinum Games) games, this is a must buy! Playing it on TV with a Pro Controller, in my opinion, is the best way to experience the game as you’ll have the max graphics capability and the Pro Controller makes the combat and movements more fluid than using Joy Cons. In conclusion: BUY THIS GAME! You’ll thank me later.

A must have in every Switch library. The graphics, aesthetic, music, and gameplay are all on point. It might seem simple at first but it opens up after the second or third chapter.

This game is oozing with style. The graphical style is very unique and the design is very cool. A very good action game that just screams with style. Quite an enjoyable game.

Once again Platinum Games has knocked it out of the park! Great anime style graphics, a decent story, along with fun gameplay. Definitely a must buy for the Switch.

If you ever wanted to play through an anime Astral Chain is your title. It features incredible boss fights, a great soundtrack, and visuals that you'll remember for a long time.

Platinum games at its finest. Controls took a mission to master and it’s unlike any other game. I’m truly loving the detective missions along with variety of combat and enemys.

This is an amazing action packed adventure with a great story line. From doing detective work to fighting in the chimeras direction to save someone it is a great experience.

I am really digging this game right now has the combat of Bayonetta, music that reminds me of few platinum games and the menu gives me that Nier Automata feel!

Astral Chain is another great game from Platinum. Visually the anime style art works very well for the Switch. The storyline is compelling and draws you in quickly. The pacing of the action, the story, and the side quests is almost perfect; just as you are getting a little bored with the story quests, a chimera appears to spice things up with a battle. The battle mechanics are a little clunky at first, but after the first, awkward battle, the game builds you up to a comfortable proficiency quite quickly. Overall Astral Chain is a great game that I will return to in the future to experience again and again

This game is everything you would expect by the people who made some of the best action rpg games. Great story, thrilling combat, and endless customization.

It has so much fun because there is action + puzzles + a good story in anime style. So, this game worths every dollar :) it is a must have for a Nintendo Switch.
