But when i tried these gen 2, they are so much more comfortable. They are lightweight and have good sound and mic quality

Not how it used to be!

They hold up for about two years and when they break it’s usually completely my fault (I have kids.) this last pair came with a VERY loose mic and it fell out first month (not my fault.) This new edition feels way cheaper than older models and almost like they’re skimping for cheaper models but same price. Might look into a slightly more expensive model.

Worked great for a little bit but then the mic part fell out. Happened after the 15 day return or exchange period but thankfully have a 1 year warranty with the manufacturer so got a replacement through them.

They are well made, very comfortable and they have (so far) they have managed to hold up despite how he handles them. East to clean and I was impressed by the quality. We have had a lot of over the ear headphones and these have been the best ones we have bought him. These are a must have if you need a pair; highly recommend.

The mic will loosen over time causing it to fall continuously until it eventually unscrews itself from the tightened position & hangs by only the wire. Great headset for the price just poorly made. Best Buy did not renew my headset when I used it on the first return, causing me to fork out $$ for another headset. Poor service on their end as well, so make sure to triple & quadruple check they’re including the protection plan when you claim it
