Customers are saying

Customers commend the A10 Wired Stereo Gaming Headset's sound quality, comfort, and design, frequently citing its value for the price. However, some users noted that the headset's fit and weight could be improved, and that the microphone and cord length presented challenges for certain users. The compatibility with various gaming systems was also a point of discussion.

Couple of things - I paid $20 during a sale, they originally sell for $60. At $20 they are a no brainer. For $60 they are still an excellent purchase. The treble and bass are outstanding, nobody has complained about the mic, and these appear to be very durable (a flexible yet sturdy rubber material). Plus the Zelda decorations look really great. I use these on the PS4 connected directly to the controller. No USB or extra power necessary (no batteries!). Even has an in-line volume control for sound (not mic). Fantastic low priced gaming headset with a mic. I searched around for weeks for "the best gaming headset" until I ran into this for a price I couldn't pass up. I quickly ended my search once I tried these. Unless you need surround sound, wireless, or the absolute best sound ever (there are probably better sounding out there, but these are excellent) you can't go wrong with the A10.

This Headset sounds great and has a lot of nice features including a volume control on the cord and mic that flips up and down. Its very comfortable but a bit on the bulky side.

Don’t buy it expecting premium sound or build. Astro is a good brand and I have no regrets, but there were certainly concessions made to reach this price point. The headset itself is very light, which makes every little bump of the sound cable travel through into the headset itself. It’s also kind of tight, even after adjusting, so if you have a larger than average head you may want to look elsewhere. Sound is decent, but certainly lesser than my Corsair Void headset. Bass is a bit light and treble is slightly harsh, giving everything a slightly “hollow” sound. Not bad enough to be distracting, but it’s always noticeable. Mic is decent, but nothing special. You probably won’t get any complaints from teammates, but between these two points you probably won’t want to use this for anything besides gaming. Overall, despite my criticisms, it’s a good value for the $20 I paid for it on sale. But for full price it’s hard to recommend when better headsets can be had for relatively little extra cost.

Brought them to replace a less than usable setup for audio chatting (Discord and PS4) and they work effortlessly for me. Only issue I have is handling the mic/audio split piece for the computer, but easily overcame that by routing the audio through the PS4 controller. Sounds awesome for me through a variety of games for the Switch, PS4, and computer. Audio for music is a bit meh, but I'm not a music person to begin with; rather know a firefight is happening in the distance than hearing difference between the guitarists. The look of it sold me. The detailing in the black and the nice Zelda gold around it from sides and to the top of the band allows it to lay around my game area as a centerpiece instead of a tool. 5/5 Would buy again. At a cheaper price than what I paid. ($70 insta-buy at the store that had them in stock)

Great Wired Headset and Awesome Looking

I procured this headset specifically for Fortnite chatting with friends while undocked. I need to be able to chat and have stereo audio when I travel. After much research, the A10s kept popping up so I decided to try them out. They were one of the few name brand models that didn't require multiple wires to be plugged in and were not made specifically for the crappy Nintendo phone app. My local store had the Zelda model for sale, and I just had to get this model because they look so dope. Thankfully, they work great as well and provide exactly what I need - stereo Fornite audio with chat capability while in a hotel room. Side note: I use the Turtle Beach Stealth 450 wireless headset when the Switch is docked. They are also really good and do not require anything but the USB adapter to be plugged in.

I bought the Astro 10 Leagend of Zelda headset for use with Fortnite on my Nintendo Switch. The sound/mic quality is great for the price. I have also successfully tried it on my PS4 (the mics on Apple EarPods and Beats headphones do not work with the PS4) and iPad. The headset is adjustable and comfortable to wear for long periods. It does not do any noise-cancelling so you can still hear noises around you. The volume dial on the headset is a welcome feature that I use a lot. One important thing to note, make sure you plug the cable in all the way into the headset or the audio will cut in and out. It requires a good amount more force to plug it in than most other headsets. Overall, it is a great headset for the price!

The Astro A10s are a very nice and comfortable headset. The Zelda design looks great, and while it's not the best Astro headset around, at the price you can get it for, it's a definite steal.

Best Head Set for Nintendo Switch

This is currently the best headset you can get for your Nintendo Switch. The sound is on par with the older Astro brothers (A40 and A50). The mic quality surpases its sibblings in my opinion. I had read of people complaining of the comfort of the headset during long sessions... I have abussed this headset with Super Smash Brothers for hours and have never felt that they were not comfy enough. The cherry on the top is the Zelda logo!

Okay, so the faux leather padded ear buds cause me ear sweat and skin fatigue over several hours of gameplay. These earphones I am able to handle hours upon hours without skin fatigue. It's pretty decent audio. I can hear footsteps in shooters. Which helps alot in winning. I had corsair rgbs which retail around 179.99. They weren't as compatible with ps4, so I voted these Astros. They do the job and my friends can hear me now. I would pick these up in a heartbeat around 30 dollars. They are worth every penny.

I use it for my xbox and not for the switch. I also use these for online meetings, listening to music, I even plug it in to the guitar amp once in a while. The sound coming out is rather good and gets the job done plus it is Zelda-themed!! Lots of uses for the price and quality. Only complaint, the cushion for the top of the head started falling of (ran out of glue?)- easily fixed with glue. Cushions on the ears are excellent and comfortable. Wearing for more than 2 hours at a time will feel heavy. Take a rest.

I have always had my eyes on these due to the Zelda design but never bought them due to price. Got them on sale finally and wish I had bought them earlier. These are like any other A10 Astro headsets, just better looking IMO. I use them for my xbox one as well and they work perfect with existing mix-amp. Sound and comfort are excellent; mic is crystal clear. High quality headphones for gaming, highly recommend.

I've had my fair share of headphones over the years, but this one trumps them all. It is SO comfortable. The microphone works great, and flipping it up mutes it well. Bring it back down and you're back in the action. I've never felt such comfortable headphones. I've worn these for 3 hour lengths and they never became a bother. I would highly recommend these whenever possible.

This headset is fantastic for the switch and sounds great. It has a split cable adapter than you can use or not. If you use it, you can have one line going to your phone for the Nintendo voice chat, or just use discord. The other goes straight to the switch. If you don’t use the adapter you can still do voice chat on games like fortnight.

Overall this seemed to be a decent Headset, purchased it on sale. Definitely a mid level Headset but nice features for the price, and doesn’t feel cheap compared to some of the others in the price range. Sound quality was better than expected, just extremely high volume may begin to distort, but it was ridiculously loud. Somewhat expected for this price range.

As a huge fan of the Legend of Zelda series this headset is a MUST HAVE. Very sleek looking and comfortable on the head and ears. The downside is the only way to mute the headset is by turning the mic all the way up into the headset (where a flick of a button could easily suffice). Definitely recommend!
