Great headphones until the dogs ate the microphone. Good sound and sturdy. My son said they made his ears hot after a while of using them.

Astro has always been known for their expensive headsets, but when this cheaper one was announced, I was skeptical. I watched some early YouTube reviews, and everyone praised this headset, so I decided to purchase this as my new one. This headset has the same audio drivers (minus surround sound) as the A40s and still sound awesome and can get pretty loud! They are a lot more sturdier than I thought they were going to be, and these are built to last for a long time. Youtubers were encouraged to put this headset in extreme conditions, some were bending, someone even slammed a door on them. Each resulted in them working 100% fine (although the door one scuffed up the headset a tiny bit but that's expected). The headset is also comfortable to wear for a long period of time. It obviously isn't the most comfortable thing due to its price point, but it does a good job at it and I enjoy it a lot. I recommend this headset for anyone looking to not spend a whole lot. This headset by Astro will give the others a run for their money. You can even convert this to surround sound if you want by purchasing a mix amp online, but then you'll have extra cords, but that is up to you. This headset is also very simple. Just a headphone jack is needed and this headset is compatible. I use it with my PS4, and my Nintendo Switch.

This is Astro's first entry-level gaming headset and now competing against others such as the HyperX and Turtle Beach, which are budget friendly gaming headsets as well. The Astro A10 comes in Blue for PS4, Green for XBOX ONE, and Red for PC. However, all of these headphones will work for any console or PC. For example, you can buy the Blue one and use it for your XBOX ONE or buy the Green for your PS4 so it just depends on which color you like. It comes with a 6.5 foot cable, which is detachable, and also has the in-line volume slider. So overall, the Astro A10 gaming headset are very impressive offering nice features, but are they the right headset for you? Let's discuss! As far as the design, the Astro A10 gaming headset is mainly made out of plastic and looks very sleek and has a clean finish!! The only part that does not look the best is the headband on the top because it has a rubbery cheap feel and not the most flashy pair of gaming headset. It's not a big deal but just something to take note of. As far as flexibility goes, the Astro A10 very flexible and has a really nice range of motion, you can really stretch these and twist them a ton. Also, the A10 is very sturdy and won't break easily because they were designed very well and tough! Comfort wise, The A10's are pretty comfortable. The memory foam ear cushions have a plush feel to them and are very soft with great padding support around the gaming headset. The top padding is the part that could of been improved because it's not long enough so when it sits on your head, it covers a small portion. The smaller ear cups may not feel comfortable for everyone, especially if you have bigger ears because it may not be big enough. Overall, I would say the Astro A10's are pretty comfortable. If you are going to be gaming, you can easily wear these for hours and hours with not much discomfort. So next is the sound and microphone quality, a factor when trying to decide which gaming headset to pick. The sound is definitely impressive when gaming. You can hear things such as footsteps very clearly which create a competition edge over the opponent. When driving racing games, it sounds very clean and you can hear screeching tires and engines which create an immersive gaming experience. Now I will say the sound is not anything over the top when it comes to music. It's not going to have a ton of bass, detailed mids and highs, and provide any sort of clarity. The Astro A10's are just a great pair of gaming headset to put on and start gaming! As far as the microphone, it's pretty good and performs well. When you talk, friends will be able to hear you clearly while gaming. I wouldn't say it's the best or anything but it definitely gets the job done. If the mic is too close to your mouth, then it may sound a bit muffled but if you just tilt it away a little, then you won't have to worry. Overall, the Astro A10 gaming headset have great sound microphone quality for gaming and definitely impressive. Overall, the Astro A10 gaming headset is outstanding for $60. The A10 has a very sleek design and provides a lot of flexibility where you can really stretch them out and twist them a lot and won't break easily. They are pretty comfortable and can easily be worn to game for hours and hours. The Astro A10 may not sound the best for music but these are mainly for gaming which in that category perform very well. Good headset, but eventually the mic you flip up/down to mute/unmute began to malfunction and create static.

I just bought these Astro A10 in blue today, 6-23-21 and used them on my PS4 system. The setting up was super EASY!! FINALLY having instructions that are easy to follow!! :)- Sound wise, very good, and the volume is easy to work with, the games are loud, like it should be, and are noise canceling type headphones. I’m not used to wearing them when I play, and wanted something so I wouldn’t disturb anyone during late night play. And after having the system for 6 years, it’s about time I invest in a pair! They are heavy, which I hadn’t thought of, but can live with. The mic seems to work well, since others could hear me, and I love the fact they turn off when it’s in the up position. So it’s great I don’t need to have the mic in the way, so to speak, when I’m not online with others. They are wired, which can be a downer for some. I’d say it’s approximately a 3 foot cord, so if your one who doesn’t throw controllers around when you loose, or even win, you’ll be fine. Overall, I think they are a good price, and especially for a first pair of headphones for someone who is just staring out in these. Yes, I think wireless ones would be better, but the price is what got me to these guys. Plus it’s one less thing for my to charge every other day, like everything else. lol

These are nice quality, good bass and clarity. Comfortable on the ears uptil a reasonable time. Only complaint is that there is a lot of sound leaking out - even on medium volume, a person sitting beside me can easily listen to what I am listening to. So keep that in mind if you have concerns about that - if not, totally worth it. Got it on sale for 20 bucks!

This headset produces excellent sound and is extremely comfortable. Easily as good as the higher priced and very popular Astro A40's. I do wish that there was a mute switch in line instead of having to raise the mic to mute. You also may want to invest in the mixamp if you want to further customize the game and chat audio levels. Oh, don't forget these are universal... just because the blue ones say they are for PS4 doesn't mean you can't use them for XBox or PC as well.

Good sound, and fits right price is good and very comfortable

Got this on sale for $19.99, in white as I already one in black; Good value for that price; Bought another over a year ago during COVID at $39.99; I feel my ear lobes are probably larger than average and this comfortable covered them. I like the flip to mute mic option because I kept forgetting what mode I had my headset on for other models that required a button press.

I had it for a couple of months now and its perfect for the average gamer, good comfort all around doesn’t squeeze my head and ear muff are nice and soft doesnt get your head to hot or sweety when playing for a long time, good comfort for the most part and sound quality is nice can hear the other people clearly with out it cutting off, FYI make sure the wire is on completely

This headset is a game changer! It’s something you plug in to any console or pc and it’s a huge upgrade from tv/monitor speakers. It’s super comfortable but requires you to wear alot to break in. The material is flexible so it wont break easily. The microphone is flip switch so its easy to manage. You can connect your phone and console at the same time!! I love it!!!!

I'm thoroughly convinced this is by far the best budget headset on the market. The audio quality is absurdly good for the price point, especially if you get it on sale at around $30, which I've often seen it at. I typically buy higher end Sennheiser headphones and the quality in these is not too far from that level of fidelity. Obviously, it can't produce quite the same clarity or audio depth, but it's MORE than adequate than anything you'd need for playing video games. I picked up one of these for $20 this Black Friday and I practically feel like I stole it. They're not the MOST comfortable set in the world, but if you adjust the fit properly you can easily find a comfortable setting. The mic quality isn't industry leading but your teammates won't have any trouble hearing you. I honestly prefer a wired set, anyway, over wireless just for versatility and ease of use, and these are winners for sure. If you take into consideration the price you'll pay, EVEN at regular price, you shouldn't be disappointed. If you happen to pick it up on sale, I know you'll fall in love with these like I have.

This has been great for my son to use while gaming with his friends. It has a clear quality when others speak, it’s very durable and has not broken yet like other cheaper ones in the past. It is also comfortable on his ears/head.

I am shocked at the quality of audio I am hearing out of this inexpensive headphone set made for gaming. It does an amazing job outputting the fine details of game audio, when clarity needed in order to win that boss fight. Music is fine tuned and all coming from a very long, well crafted and sturdy 3.5 aux cord, Astro did their homework in making a quality product - at an entry level price. The headset frame is very accommodating for any size. The plush ear cups help gamers play for hours without post-headphone pain. All these features coming from an incredible price makes this an easy purchase.

Comfy and very clear audio! Only change i would make is the 3.5mm aux cord should be shaped differently or notated better for which goes into the headset.

Very good gaming headset. The sound quality is amazing for it’s price. My only inconvenience is that it is a bit heavy, I would expect that from a wireless because of the battery, but this is a wired headset and it should be light weight.

These headphones have always been my go to for the price and quality. They work great and they last a long time. My favorite thing about them is that they have 3.5mm jack and thetly fit both my xbox and playstation controller.
