The pros outweigh the cons big in this truly 100% wireless headset. With the help of the new windows sonic for headphones which is free on Xbox one. This gives you a surround sound audio of virtual 7.1 surround sound. If you prefer a more spacial sound you can pay for the dolby atmos for headphones on xbox which is just a couple notches above windows sonic but well worth the $12. This headset is pretty great. I play Ghost Recon and COD and i must say these things give you incredible sound and can be tailored (pc needed). With your pc u can adjust the sound to your liking or just import other players sound setting for fps’s or rpg’s or whatever your into. I have tinkered with mine on my own as well as well as imported other setting from other players. It has quality sound, a great mic (friends say i am very clear) and is just a touch above (in my opinion) the turtle beach stealth 700 that came out in the same time frame. I have both, i would recommend these over the TB 700 but if you are looking for easiest set up with just an app to make small changes to your listening then i would go with the TB 700. If you are serious about gaming and want a great mic and the ability to modify the sounds to what more important to you like footsteps preset, an rpg preset and may just an arcade style preset, you can do that. The astro feels a bit more solid that the TB 700 and is pretty comfy. Neither one weighs a lot so extended sessions are not and issue and i have not run out of battery on either one. Bottom line is if you want customization for different games or play styles, go with the astro a20. This is a solid headset and offers great sound and mic and imo is better than the competition in this price range of $150.

Let me say that I’ve had these since 2018 Black Friday so I have an experience with them first let’s start with some pros and cons Pros: they have good sound -they fit comfortably (I kinda have a big head and feel great) -wireless -they have a flip to mute mic for quick muting -they have mic montering (don’t know if you can turn it off check via the Astro command center) -3 presets you can edit if you please Cons: mic is kinda bad l, my friends tell me it’s not so good but is ok I also heard it and it’s true -being wireless it needs a transmitter and I have the og Xbox one and it was a hassle but got used to it -they cut out every now and then -(might not be for all) they are not noise cancelling -they don’t really have bass (I’m not an expert so take it with a grain of salt) you can’t really feel it -when walking in my apartment just down the hallway with a wall in between they kinda cut out but other times it didn’t -the plastic on it kinda creaks and they are a little heavy Overall: if you want a headset with good bass don’t get these but if you’re looking for a decent 150$ headset (sale 110-130$) don’t care about bass then get these now with many cons those are a little minor so yeah decent pair of headset.

Easy Setup, Great Quality, But Careful Laying Down

Set up is a breeze no matter what device the headphones are connecting or switching between. Great sound quality, comfortable fit, and clear audio quality. Rarely, these headphones may not interface with the intended device but simply turning the headset off and on again solves the problem. I have found the range to extend about 40 feet through walls and doors. 4 out of 5 stars due to the following items. The only way to mute the headset from the headset itself is by raising the microphone to utilize the "flip up to mute" which in the end is not the most convenient action as you have to reset the microphone to speak and the process of flipping up the microphone makes a distinct noise that almost indicates you have muted yourself. Also the volume control is located on the back of the right ear cover, if you lay down or are sitting against the back of a chair/sofa the volume control wheel is likely to be disturbed. Overall 90/100 but since I cannot use 4.5 stars, 4 it is.

I bought this headset in December 2017 and have been using it for 3 months. Overall I really like it. I can set my controller down, walk in to my kitchen to grab a drink and still hear what's going on in the game/party. Astro has been making headsets for a long time, I purchased these because I had two other headsets stop working and wanted a trusted brand. Pros: Wireless, built-in rechargeable battery, charges via USB, can be used on a PC as well, can fine tune audio using software on your PC Cons: The audio does drop occasionally, all controls are located on the headset and you can't see them without taking headset off, headset is a bit bulky

I’ve put a lot of researching and planning before i purchased these headphones. I’ve used other brands such as turthbeach and i have to admit that these knock turtle beaches out the park. These A20 had little to no lag and did not lose feed or cut off at all after a lengthy game. The structure may seem a lot less cheap than the turtle beach brand but they are a lot more comfortable than my x420 turtle beaches. (Which tend to strain my ears after a while) So if your into sound quality and comfort , go with these babies. They do not disappoint.

Got these on sale and they’re good for the price. These are my first astros (I usually use turtle beaches) and first wireless headset and I’ve had some issues where all of a sudden my friends can’t hear me but turning the headset off and back on seems to fix the problem. I got these because the rest of my friends got them and they all like it but have the same connectivity issues. Sound quality is amazing and they’re very comfortable. They adjust easily and fit better than my turtle beaches which I needed to be just a bit smaller.

This headset is great! I got it at a discounted price as well which is a bonus! The ear pad size is perfect for Breathability also. The only "Issues" I have are the top headband and charging, the headband in my opinion has a little bit less padding than I would like. I recently had a minor issue with charging, the light that indicates the headset's power stopped working so I had to stop using it. Thankfully it was fixed when I unplugged the USB to the Xbox. All around it is a great headset and I 100% recommend it!

This is a very nice headset for the price I paid ($127). One of the key things I was looking for was a non-detachable mic (detachable mic often have static) that had good sound, and good range. This headset has very good range, and a decent mic, but it could use a separate mute button (flip up to mute sucks). Many of the reviews of static or poor sound are due to a poor optical cable connection, so be sure there isnt any dust in those ports, and plug the ends in very firm.

I bought this headset when I was traveling and had forgotten my headset at home. So I decided to buy a better headset and thought this would be great without spending the money on the A50's. They are very comfortable and the mic works great but sometimes when trying to use them they will not work correctly and need to be unplugged and plugged back in. Also turning down either the game volume or chat volume is not very intuitive or as easy as it is with other headsets

These are pretty solid headphones. I did knock one star off because there seemed to be some transmission problems between the receiver and the headphones from time to time and no troubleshooting made it better. This doesn't seem to be happening for me now. Occasionally you will have to perform a reset on these because they act really weird. The only thing I can say is they don't go as high in volume that I would like, but maybe that's a good thing so I don't blow my eardrums. Overall very solid product.

Was using a wired turtle beach headset for the longest time. Once i made the switch to wireless it was definitely more convenient for me without having to deal with all the wires. If you’re familiar with Astro headsets they are really sturdy so you could bend it or twist it and it won’t break. Only downside is that the range isn’t that far. I’ll go to my kitchen from my bedroom which isn’t that far and I’ll lose connection.

This is a great headset for gaming. Confortable design, good sound quality, and the mic doesn’t pick up on too much background noise. The only drawbacks are when I sweat, the heaphone cusions absorb sweat and can become uncomfortable. I would also highly recommend buying the protection plan because they tend to break as often as every other gaming headset I’ve ever boughten (which is usually about after a year).

The Astros sound great. I was looking for a better quality headset, and the materials, weight and general feel are great. My rub is the headset is still getting audio through the optical, and XBoX seems to get confused by this. I have to leave it on stereo output rather then surround sound, because it just chokes and will not work. There is an option to by a dolby application, but I am not sure if that will do anything.

Great true wireless headset for the price. Especially after getting it on sale. Feels durable. First Astro headset that I purchased. Will see if reviews hold true. Mic seems good. Sound is clear as well. Definitely helps with certain FPS games “Battle Royal”. Waiting to try on PlayerUnknown BattleGround. Comfortable fit on ears. Easy to set up to XBox One.

A good entry level surround headset with some to be desired in the comfort department. The audio quality is great and accurate, and the ear muffs are breathable and comfortable for long play. My biggest complaint is the head band is a bit stiff for resting on top of the head. If you’ve got thinner hair like I do, it has the potential to be uncomfortable sitting on your head.

Overall the best headset I have had really gives you and edge when you play, only complaint I would have about this is that once in a while it won't turn as if it's dead so I have to do a reset on it and work right up, not sure if I have a faulty unit or just forget to turn it off and it goes into some sort of standby mode.

These headphones have very good quality sound with the convenience of wireless transmission. They recharge with a USB connection and last for many hours of usage (I haven't run out of charge yet and have used them for 8 hours without recharging at times). The one thing I would have liked to see on them was a way to allow a Bluetooth connection as well as the default wireless.

I got this headset for my husband. I was a little unsure whether to buy them or not. However, after some research, I finally set my mind and bought them. Turned out they are incredibly good for such price. I'll totally recommend to get one set. Astro Gaming sure holds great quality of headsets.

This is a great headset (so far- Every turtle beach I have previously owned, the mic would quit working) Pros Nice and crisp microphone input. Speakers are loud and no feedback. Cons Not really any different modes for sound control. Volume adjustment is awkward. (Button on top and bottom of scroll wheel to adjust between game and voice)

Works good, connects fast, gets loud, easy to adjust, sound quality is good, lasts a long time off a single charge, my only complaint is that I cant get it to work to watch TV with. The A50 works to watch TV but this model either does not, or I cant figure it out. Other than that, excellent for Xbox one.
