That changes with these. The a40s who were at worst the 2nd best console gaming headphones stepped up and stepped into first

With a few minor tweaks to my presets, settings, etc.. I can hear things hear before. I can tell if footsteps are above or below me.

I’m able to control party audio or game volume from the control panel. I have no issues with it. Worth the price

Excellent, except...

NOTE: My last one lasted 7 years so durability is a major plus.
